The AZ Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino on March 31, 2011. The 1997 ASU Basketball National Champions were the first team to be inducted into the Arizona hall. NFL legend Randall McDaniel, former Arizona basketball player AJ Bramlett, rodeo cowboy Ty Murray, three-time World Series champion pitcher Curt Schilling and Olympic gold medalist Kerri Strug were also awarded.
