Princess Ivy is a twelve-year-old Siberian Husky and Mickey is a five-year-old Chihuahua.
Princess is a very sweet girl who loves to be involved with her humans. She is a good companion since she likes to go for rides and check-in on all the activities around the house. She is still quite mobile for 12 years old and begs to go for walks. She is very food motivated: loves her treats and would even take nibbles of your food if you let her.
Princess is good with other dogs and people. No cats, as she shows some prey drive.
Her mobility is good and she craves her daily walks. She likes to stop and take in some smells while she walks. Princess Ivy is not interested in staying outside and playing in the yard, but she would be great in a home with a doggie door.
She does not get on the furniture, nor is she destructive. She knows how to sit and is well behaved at the groomers.
She is not the kind of husky that requires a lot of attention. She is more independent and of her own mind. However, she does like to be close. Occasionally she gets excited and will play for about 30 seconds.
Princess Ivy is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed.
Mickey was rescued from the county shelter and is such a sweet boy! He is friendly, happy, outgoing and very treat motivated. He needs to lose a pound or two, but is otherwise in great shape. He is 5 years young and gets along fine with other dogs. He loves to go for walks and loves riding in the car! He especially loves to sit in your lap and be petted. He would make a great companion for someone looking for their new best friend!
Like all out dogs Mickey is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application on our homepage www.luckydogrescue.org
