Kody is a three-year-old purebred Lab and Barnaby is an eight-year-old purebred Lab.

Kody came  to us all the way from Nogales Mexico. We often work with a group of volunteers that helps with dogs at risk in  the very poor town. It takes a lot of coordination and volunteer drivers  to bring dogs to us.

Kody is a beautiful chocolate Labrador . He is about 3.5 years old and weighs over 75 pounds. He is a big boy and will need some training. Due to his size we will not adopt him into a family with small children under the age of 10. A house/yard is also a requirement to adopt this boy. We are looking  for someone active who understands this breed.

Kody is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

His adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application on our homepage www.luckydogrescue.org

Kody’s beautiful photo was taken by Nicole Bowman Photography. Nicole donates her time and talents to Lucky Dog Rescue

Sweet Barnaby came to us from a high kill shelter in Texas where he was at risk for euthanasia due to over-crowding.  He was at the shelter as an unclaimed stray.

Barnaby is a very sweet, gentle and mild mannered boy. Like all our dogs, he has been thoroughly checked by our vet (with bloodwork and fecal) and is neutered, current on vaccines an micro chipped.

Barnaby rides great in the care, walks nice on the leash and gets along well with dogs.

We have not tested him around cats.

Due to his age and size we will not put him into a home with small children under the age of 8 years.

His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application on our homepage www.luckydogrescue.org

Barnaby is about 8.5 years old and weighs about 65 pounds.
