A one-time injured stray, this five-year-old Dachshund and Chihuahua mix named Gatsby is great in so many ways! Picked up by one of the Arizona Humane Society’s Emergency Animal Medical Technician™ and brought into the Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™ for treatment, staff and volunteers have since
been getting to know Gatsby better by the day. Because Gatsby is still learning to adjust to life with just one eye, he would do best in a home with older children and people who understand the importance of going slow. He can especially get a little jumpy when people approach him from the side which is an understandable adjustment for him to be making. Come visit Gatsby in person at the Petsmart at Old Town Scottsdale and see if you can be the one to provide this guy with the rags-to-riches story we’re all hoping to see.
