A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nhaving some coffee first thing, making a to-do list for the day, then spending some time doing research and checking in with the news to see what\u2019s trending. Then I\u2019ll have some more coffee, check things off the to-do list as I go, have a quick chat with a friend, and enjoy my last cup of coffee for the day as I wrap up the to-do. All that\u2019s left is to make dinner and then, of course, wine.<\/p>\n
I was born\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nin Newport Beach, CA, then moved to Sedona when I was 6 months old.<\/p>\n
My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\nis the smell of the desert when it rains.\u00a0 The sunsets aren’t too shabby either.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nincludes my husband Brad, who is the love of my life, an Airforce veteran who swept me off my feet and my absolute favorite person to spend time with. Jack, my son graduated from the University of Arizona last year and is officially adulting now! Bridgett, my daughter will be graduating from Arizona State University this year and was the AZ Foothills Face of Foothills 2017 winner. Holly, my youngest daughter is starting at Northern Arizona University this fall and is my mini-me and consequently keeps me on my toes. Tyler is my bonus child that came as a package deal with Brad.\u00a0 He is still in high school but my guess is that he might make his way on Iron Chef someday.<\/p>\n
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nmy late Grandpa Jack. I was the oldest of his 17 grandkids and would love nothing more than to play another cribbage game with him.\u00a0 I was his sidekick for years and he taught me so much.<\/p>\n
One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nis coffee and lip gloss (sorry\u2026 that’s 2).<\/p>\n
When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nWonder Woman, especially because of her truth-telling lasso… boy, would that have come in handy!<\/p>\n
I’m inspired by\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\nmy dad as he is hard-working, ridiculously generous and lives his life with so much integrity. He is a real superhero.<\/p>\n
The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nmy future self. I\u2019m forever on a journey of trying to be better today than I was yesterday.<\/p>\n
If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\ncoach seats on airplanes, get rid of those! First-class for everyone!<\/p>\n
The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nspending time outside with the sun in my face and my toes in the sand!<\/p>\n
My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nworking on latrine duty at our family business, managed by my sweet mom. My attention to detail and cleanliness is a hats off to her!<\/p>\n
My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nis unquestionably, Lake Powell! It has been our family’s go-to for over three decades.<\/p>\n
My life\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\nis in a season of transition, as we close the chapter on raising kids in Phoenix and move back to beautiful Sedona.<\/p>\n
