A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I start every morning by snuggling with my cats, and yes, they love to snuggle! I find that this helps to put me in a good mindset for the day. Once I\u2019m in the office, I prep for the day with a Sugar Free Red Bull (I\u2019m obsessed). After that point, every day is different. I go to meetings, help decorate for events, work with various vendors to plan events, create flyers or signage, etc. The variety in my job is what keeps me going. One day I\u2019m creating a website and the next I\u2019m conducting a photo shoot, it\u2019s wonderful!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I was born\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

in Boston, MA on a snowy December night right before Christmas. I like to think that I was the best Christmas present that my parents ever received. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

the weather and the location. I moved here from Boston where multiple feet of snow is inevitable. Now I don\u2019t have to deal with that unless I choose to drive 2 hours north, it\u2019s wonderful! The location of Arizona is also perfect. Only a 4 four drive from Vegas, 5 hours from San Diego, 6 hours to LA, etc. it\u2019s perfect for me because I love to do solo weekend trips.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m listening to\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I\u2019m currently into true crime podcasts. When I\u2019m not listening to those, you can find me jamming out to some EDM, pop, country or rock. My music taste is constantly evolving but my favorite artists at the moment are Avicii, Kygo, Luke Combs and Jason Derulo.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My family\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is the foundation of who I am. Growing up, my parents, brother, and sister and I were very tightly knit. My parents taught me about hard work and kindness, with a few dad jokes along the way. My mom has been my biggest supporter since moving to Arizona. She always has words of encouragement and is only a phone call away if I ever need her.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ellen DeGeneres. She is an amazing human being!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

as a child, I wanted to be a house painter and a photographer. I\u2019ve always loved being creative and large scale projects. I think this was a great determiner on who I\u2019d be when I grew up.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Brad Wulff, former America\u2019s Property Marketing Leader for W Hotels. Brad was the one who on-boarded me at W Scottsdale and introduced me to my role. He taught me all the ins and outs of the brand and the direction of W Hotels. Brad is incredibly hardworking and dedicated, which he passes on to everyone he trains. His passion and enthusiasm for his career are contagious and it makes you want to be around him. His career has taken him around the globe and introduced him to so many new people. I\u2019m inspired by the amount he has accomplished at such a young age and I hope to be as inspiring as him someday.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my coworkers motivate me every day. I see how hardworking each of them is and it pushes me to do better and to go above and beyond what is expected.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I wish I could change multiple things in the world, but my top two would be to find a cure for cancer and end animal cruelty.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

either a day spent binge watching Netflix curled up on the couch OR on an adventure exploring something new.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

a cashier at a grocery store. I had that job from ages 14-18 and it was a humbling start to my experience in customer service. I learned a lot at a young age with that job which helped shape me into the person I am today.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Aruba is my favorite getaway destination! The clear blue water, white sand, warm weather, and friendly locals are the ideal combination for the perfect escape.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is a crazy, beautiful life, and I love it. Every day is a blessing and I try to push myself to learn and experience new things as much as possible. I\u2019m surrounded by wonderful friends and coworkers who support me and I have a lot to be thankful for.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I started my professional career as a graphic designer for an advertising agency in Boston, MA. After working at the agency for 5 years and rising through the ranks to become Marketing Manager, I was ready for something new. When I stumbled on the job description for the W Scottsdale Marketing Manager, I immediately called my mom to tell her this was my dream job. As soon as I received my offer, I packed my life into my car (crammed with my 2 cats and anything else I could fit) and drove across the country for my new adventure. Fast forward a year and a half and here I am. W Scottsdale may be considered a luxury hotel by Marriott; however, W Hotels turns the tables on tradition. We master luxury service but boldly color outside the lines. W Hotels takes off the white gloves and serves up bold and witty customer service. W Scottsdale is lively, colorful and always edgy which is why I love what I do. Part of my role as Marketing Manager is to plan activations for both hotel guests and the local community, from free fitness classes to fashion shows to empowerment seminars, I try to cover it all.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In my free time, you can find me exploring a new area or taking a solo weekend getaway to a new destination.
