Married\/Single: <\/strong>married my high school sweetheart, we\u2019ve been married for almost 9 years, and friends for 18 years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids: <\/strong>two; Henry Marcus, 6 and Willow Isabel, 6 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A typical day in my life includes\u2026<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I typically wake up before the kids and head right into some form of breathwork or meditation, I make protein pancakes for my son almost every morning (my recipe is in my new book Love Your Body, Feed Your Soul<\/a>,  my baby girl wakes up earlier than my son so we have some sweet playtime and nursing before he wakes. Mornings are usually a little rushed, we seem to always be late to school. Typically  I have a tonic latte or superfood smoothie in my cup on the way to school drop off,  they always include one of our superfood powders, my current favorite is Glow Power, it\u2019s the best for glowing radiant skin. I use it daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once Henry is at school I head to either our Sedona or Flagstaff locations to check in with the team (Willow, our baby, comes with me everywhere) and grab a salad and juice for lunch later in the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I usually spend the afternoons catching up on emails, working on our new caf\u00e9 concept Wildcraft Kitchen<\/a>, brainstorming with our team on new ideas, working with our designers, and playing with Willow. There\u2019s lots of breastfeeding, and chasing her around, she just started crawling at 5 \u00bd months and I\u2019m pretty sure my work life is over! I usually have some chocolate mid-day and a salad from Local. My favorite is our Cleansing Kale Salad, paired with a Goddess Greens juice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once my husband is home, I usually go to the gym, then come home and make dinner, which right now is typically a warming soup with lots of greens and some quinoa. After dinner, my husband and I take turns doing \u201cspecial time\u201d with our son. This is where he gets 15 minutes of dedicated time from each of us to do whatever (within reason). Usually, pillow fights with dad and book reading with mom. This has been so helpful with the new baby coming, I feel like it\u2019s kept him feeling important during a rocky time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the kids are down, we usually hang out and just talk over some tea, then I read for a little bit before my eyes close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

at home, on a self-sustainable farm in Missouri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

the wide-open land and accessible nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Being Podcast by Krista Tippett, The Goop Podcast, and Mozart, it calms my nerves and the baby likes it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

is quirky, energetic, and the loves of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

my dad, I never got the chance to meet him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

what hurts my heart daily is the thought of any child being treated without love and care. I think the world would be a different place if we treated our children and women with deep honor, respect, and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I literally love working. I get so energized from working with my team and in my shops. My perfect day would be to work with my team and then to hike or be in nature with my family\u2026 and have dinner and cleanup handled!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

landscaping at a local farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a good book (I love historical fiction), a hot yoga class, or the chocolate caramel bar from Local Juicery, depending on my mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is a vibrant expression of my passions and loves.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

our Local Juicery product line, expanding Local Juicery to the Valley and opening our restaurant Wildcraft Kitchen in Sedona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
