A typical day in my life includes… <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

waking up to get ready to have a productive day. I get ready, head to school, and hang out with my friends. Attend a study session with my group in the afternoon than head to the gym to unwind. Enjoy being a true UofA Wildcat.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I was born…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

on November 2nd, 1999 in Tucson, AZ at St Joseph\u2019s Hospital to Omar and Yara Patricia Solorzano. I was named after my mom because both my dad and grandparents wanted to pass down the name \u201cYara.\u201dThe name Yara is the name of a Brazilian goddess with green hair and fair skin. The name also has Arabic origins, meaning \u201csmall butterfly.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My favorite thing about Arizona is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

the beautiful and amazing sunsets. Each sunset is absolutely gorgeous and every one of them is photo-worthy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m listening to…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Thank You, Next by Ariana Grande. I like this song a lot because I\u2019m able to relate to it from my past. In her song, she\u2019s talking about being thankful for her ex\u2019s because not only was she able to learn a lot from them but she continues to move forward from the past by saying thank you, next. In life, you\u2019re going to meet people, fall in love, get heartbroken but eventually find the one. She sends the message that each person that enters your life has a positive impact on your life whether that\u2019s learning patience, pain or love because you continue to grow stronger.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My family is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my world my everything to me. Each member of my family brings something to the table. My dad is the breadwinner but my #1 man in my heart. He shielded me from any possible harm and made sure I got the best of the best in life. I was his princess and he was my hero. My mom is my mentor, my rock and my support system but most of all she is my number one cheerleader. My brothers were my mentors and supporters.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

with the number one plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, Dr. Cat Begovic. She\u2019s someone that I look up to and hope to be one day. I would have endless questions to ask her about how she got to where she is now and if she ever felt like giving up. Being able to sit down with her and receive advice would give me a bigger push to achieve all my goals in the future.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One thing I cannot live without is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my cellphone. My cellphone is my mean to communicate with my friends and family, listen to music and take lots of fun pictures like selfies and of my friends.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When I was younger I wanted to be…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

a veterinarian. I absolutely loved animals and the idea of being able to work and save them brought so much happiness to me.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m inspired by…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Michelle Obama because she\u2019s a true inspiration and role model for young women.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The one person who motivates me is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my mom because when things get hard, she tells me to keep going and never give up. My mom has always done a great job at everything. She always pushes us to try to reach our full potential. She’s always looking for me to try and make the right choices, to be a better person, and not to depend on anyone else but myself.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

make college life a lot easier. I\u2019ve seen students struggle with being far from home plus the school load we need to take each semester can be stressful. I\u2019ve established study group sessions for each of my classes as a way to meet people plus to help others.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The perfect day is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

waking up in bed to a gourmet breakfast and finding out I won the lottery. A gourmet breakfast to begin the day and winning the lottery to do everything I can\u2019t right now. If I won the lottery I\u2019d do the most for my parents. I\u2019d immediately pay off the college loans so they wouldn\u2019t have to worry about that in the future, buy them the house of their dreams, and make any payments for them. Even though waking up to finding out that I won the lottery is a dream, they deserve so much for doing everything that they do for me and one day I\u2019m going to make sure that happens.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My first job was…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

at Top Golf Marana as a Bay Host. It was a rewarding job because I was made my guests feel welcomed, was able to engage with them and introduce them to new and delicious food and beverage options and make their visit to Top Golf fun and memorable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My favorite escape is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

to attend as many as possible UofA games. I\u2019ve gone to football, baseball and basketball games. It\u2019s fun to dress up in school spirit plus to go with a group of friends. We go to show our support for our school plus cheering on my friends on the team.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My life is…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

a blessing because I have friends that I can lean on when I\u2019m are having a rough week, have people that love me, being able to go to college to peruse my dreams and having a very supportive family. I am always telling myself anything can happen with determination. I must never let myself be disappointed in myself when I fail in something because we must get right up, dust ourselves and learn from those mistakes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m currently working on…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

obtaining a Bachelors Degree at the University of Arizona in Physiology with a minor in Spanish and Entrepreneurship. I want to become a Plastic Surgeon and open my private business in Beverly Hills, California.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I am constantly working to achieve my dreams of becoming a Plastic Surgeon by being on top of my school work. Time management is my best friend and I make sure I\u2019m on top of all my homework and assignments.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

going to give up on my dreams. Like my mom said, some dreams can be achieved overnight but others will take hard work and time but can be accomplished.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is either \u201cAll our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them\u201d or \u201cIf you can dream it, you can do it\u201d both by Walt Disney. My mom instilled these quotes or messages into us as a way to help motivate us to follow our aspirations and work hard every day. You have to pursue that dream, and this requires courage within us.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Biggest Dream…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is to become the first petite Victoria Secret Angel. I have always dreamt about it. I have the right attitude, experience, and looks to be a successful model. I want to be a model because I love fashion and clothes<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My Pet Peeves…<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

can go on forever but my main ones are when people don\u2019t clean up after themselves, when someone doesn\u2019t say thank you, loud chewers, people who are consistently on their phone while we\u2019re eating or talking, and people who don\u2019t cover their mouth when they cough or sneeze.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
