If there happens to be a Bar\u00e7a game, my day may be getting planned around that!<\/p>\n<p><strong>I was born\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>in Sabadell, Spain, just outside of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the growth and networking of small local businesses and local product. The support of the surrounding communities, and how those people encourage each other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m listening to\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hammock, it helps me focus and get inspiration when I need to come up with new flavors and recipes, but sometimes I feel like listening to punk rock as well or old hip hop as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My family\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>is my biggest support. They believe in me and encourage me to pursue and go after what I want. In the end, I just want to make them proud.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ferran Adri\u00e0. A chef that I\u2019ve always admired and looked up to for what he\u2019s achieved in his career.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>chocolate, claro! It\u00b4s my everyday job, jaja!<\/p>\n<p><strong>When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a pastry chef. When I was a kid, my mom used to make olive oil cake. When she wasn\u2019t looking, I would take a wooden spoon and lick the batter from it, I still remember how good it was, and that\u2019s when I knew.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>my parents. They are such dedicated and hard workers, and always achieve their aspirations. Even when they fail, they never stop until it\u2019s done right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>my wife. She believed in me and supported me since day one, and never gives up. She\u2019s always pushing me to be better and to work harder. In the end, it\u2019ll be worth it. And she\u2019s right, she\u2019s always right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the division of people and their cultures. That everyone should be seen as equals, no matter where they are from or what they believe in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>eating a paella with my friends in L\u2019Escala, a small fishing town in the Costa Brava, where I used to spend summers with my parents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>as a pastry assistant, when I was 16 years old, in my hometown. That\u2019s when I started to learn about this industry and have been obsessed since then.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>sometimes is just staying at home, ordering Chinese food and watch a cooking show. Others, drive up to the mountains or to the beach on the weekend, and relaxing and disconnecting from everything to get fresh inspiration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My life\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>would be really different if I didn\u2019t get into the pastry industry, I love how creative you can be and how you can make people happy with what you make.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>my brand, Noi Cacao, and trying to get the product into more locations around Phoenix and working on new flavor combinations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Always\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>try harder than the day before, because everything\u2019s about perseverance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Never\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>trust anyone who doesn&#8217;t like chocolate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite Quote\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe true cost of following your dreams isn\u2019t what you sacrifice when you chase them, it\u2019s what you lose when you don\u2019t\u201d &#8211; Simon S.
