my day is so varied. I will work from home mostly in the mornings, and come in to our office at DC Ranch usually in the late mornings (they have the good coffee machine there). Over the course of the day, I will be working on anything from wholesale leads to website updates to social media planning to shipping out orders. I love the variety, it keeps me on my toes!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

in Dayton, Ohio.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

definitely the focus on health and wellness out here. There are tons of great places to eat, trails to hike, fitness classes to take. Oh, and happy hour on the patio. Because ya know, balance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m listening to\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my meditation app. Trying to stay consistent and it gets me out of a funk!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My family\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is hard-working, hilarious, and super close.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

no longer with us? Audrey Hepburn. Currently with us? Martha Stewart.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

wine. Spending so much time in NorCal wine country definitely spoiled me and food and wine has just been a huge part of my life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

so many things. A dolphin trainer, a journalist, a lawyer, a vet\u2026But I always loved creating new businesses. I am working to create a life that 8-year-old-me would be proud and excited by. I think I\u2019ve done a pretty good job so far!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

women who don\u2019t just \u201cwork hard\u201d but are successful without sacrificing their health and happiness. There is so much pressure to \u201chustle\u201d in business (and I\u2019m totally guilty of this too) but I really admire women in business who get sh*t done, and then making a priority out of taking care of themselves and spending time with their family. Seeing other women be real about their success makes that feel so much more attainable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

my Mom, Angella. As my business partner in Simple Jane, best friend AND parent, she is the reason I want to keep building and stay inspired to innovate. She is so creative, and I want to always be the strongest version of myself with her.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

people\u2019s stigma about cannabis. At Simple Jane, we are working hard to change people\u2019s perception about integrating cannabis into your life. And whether it\u2019s using CBD products or consuming any other part of the cannabis plant (read: marijuana! I know!) I truly believe there are so many health and wellness problems we can alleviate as a society with this natural resource on our hands and leaving fear, stigma, and misconceptions behind.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

a mixture of going to the spa, taking a long walk with my pup with a great view and enjoying a really incredible dinner. My best days are the ones where I have the chance to slow things down and really enjoy being present.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

making my own dog treats and selling them door-to-door in my neighborhood. My first \u201creal office\u201d job was a recruiting job for design talent that I took while I lived in San Francisco. It gave me a lot of perspective on great leadership skills, client services and strong company culture and values.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

a hot yoga class at True Hot Yoga is one of my favorite resets. I also love to ready trashy magic books, which will all-consume me until I read them straight through!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

My life\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

is fast-paced, unexpected and full of love. I am so lucky to be surrounded by a tribe of cheerleaders, and people that have my back.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

finding new hobbies and doing things \u201cjust for fun.\u201d I\u2019ve been thinking about tennis? Ice-skating?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

have a bottle of champagne in the fridge. You never know when you\u2019ll need to celebrate being alive. Or you know, celebrate that it\u2019s Tuesday or something.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

overpack for a trip. I am a big proponent of traveling light!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I\u2019m kind of a quote dork (see my Instagram) but one of my long-time favorites is \u201cAnyone who does not believe in miracles is not a realist\u201d by way of my girl Audrey Hepburn. Take the most miraculous life you can dream of\u2026and then make it happen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

people who are rude to customer service staff.
