A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

waking up as the sun rises and playing whatever motivating music I think might be a good start to the day. I drive to the office where I typically spend the entire day meeting and talking with customers, generating quotes and reviewing emails. After work I return home, have dinner and watch a fun sitcom before going to bed. I like comedies and don\u2019t care for the crime dramas that seem to dominate television these days.<\/p>\n

I was born\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

in Sanford, Maine in 1971. I moved to Arizona in 1992 to attend ASU and pursue a degree in accounting. I graduated ASU in 1995 and went to work for a large accounting firm as an auditor.<\/p>\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

is the weather and overall accessibility. As a wheelchair user, it is great to live in a place where I don\u2019t have to deal with snow or slippery roads and sidewalks. Everything here is relatively flat and new so it is extremely rare that I find somewhere that is inaccessible.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m currently listening to\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

music has always been a big part of my life. Music can shape your mood, brighten your day or pump you up for a big event. I listen to all kinds of music; my favorite artists are Tim McGraw, Ed Sheeran, Prince and George Michael.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

my immediate family still resides in Maine. I was the only one of my siblings that left our small town. I enjoy going back in the summer to spend time with my Mom, Brothers and Sister. With 15 nieces and nephews, there is always something fun happening in the summer.<\/p>\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Jacques Cousteau, Johnny Carson and Hugh Hefner because I like to live, laugh and love.<\/p>\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

two things: my wife and music. My wife Letitia is an amazing woman who believes in me and supports my ideas and entrepreneurial ventures.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

a restaurant owner. Years later as I started working closely with restauranteur\u2019s I realized just how much work goes into operating a restaurant and it is a very cyclical business.<\/p>\n

I’m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

my mom who raised 5 kids on her own and who didn\u2019t take no for answer when it came time to enroll her disabled son in public school. Back in 1976 she had to fight to force the school to accept me in my wheelchair. She continues to inspire me with all that she does for her kids and grandkids.<\/p>\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You cannot rely on others to motivate you. This has to come from within. You must have the internal drive and ambition to accomplish something and be successful.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    I would eradicate hate. Almost everything negative in this world comes from hate. Hate causes discrimination and war. Discrimination and war leads to famine and death.<\/p>\n

    The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    waking up in a home along the beach with the sounds of ocean waves crashing in. Spend the day on the beach with my wife and dogs followed up with a wonderful dinner with family and friends.<\/p>\n

    My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    with the Maine summer job program. I worked for the town of Sanford as a computer programmer.<\/p>\n

    My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    is the beach.<\/p>\n

    My life\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    is a series of events that lead me to where I am today. Although some of those events were painful and tragic, if they didn\u2019t occur it would have resulted in me going in an altered direction with different results.<\/p>\n

    I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    my new venture. TerrainHopper USA is a company I started over a year ago. We have licensed the rights to manufacture, sell and distribute the TerrainHopper off-road mobility vehicle here in the United States. Our goal is to provide mobility challenged people with the ability to participate on outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

    smile and treat people the way you want to be treated.<\/p>\n

    Never\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    underestimate what you can accomplish. If you think of all the reasons why you shouldn\u2019t do something, you will never do anything. I would much rather try and fail at something than wonder if I would have succeeded.<\/p>\n

    Biggest Dream\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    is to see that all state, federal and city parks, as well as public beaches have the equipment available to be used by mobility challenged people enjoy these locations with their friends and family.<\/p>\n

    My biggest pet peeve\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

    is slow people in the drive through. More than likely you have been eating there for years so you should know exactly what you want, have your money ready when you get to the window and don\u2019t bother checking the order when you get it.
