Podcasts! My favorites right now are\u00a0Fashion Rewired\u00a0<\/i><\/span>by Brian Hill, The Successful Fashion Designer\u00a0<\/i><\/span>by Sew Heidi, and the Goaldigger Podcast\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/span>by Jenna Kutcher. Trust me…you\u2019ll thank me later!<\/p>\n

My family\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

is always growing, blood relatives or not. We always say there\u2019s enough love to go around!<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

a fashion designer, I decided when I was 9 because I thought \u2018<\/i><\/span>MollyKate Cline<\/span>\u2019\u00a0<\/i><\/span>sounded like a designer\u2019s name. By the time I was 10, my mom bought me a sewing machine and I taught myself how to sew. Also at age 10, I wrote my college application letter to design schools in NYC and asked my mom to put them in the mail for me\u2026.I guess you could say I\u2019ve always known what I wanted!<\/p>\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

God\u2019s creation of this planet, and how sustainable practices within the fashion industry can help protect it.<\/p>\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

my father. Unfortunately, he passed away tragically when I was 9 and it hit me pretty hard because I was such a daddy\u2019s girl. It was at that moment where I knew I wanted to do something in life to make him proud, like becoming a fashion designer could bring him back or something. I was young, but losing my father ignited a fire inside my heart to accomplish enough in this world for the both of us. He\u2019s kind of this drive that\u2019s inside of me to always strive for better. I miss him like crazy.<\/p>\n

My personal style\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

is very relaxed and girly. I like pieces that can speak for themselves, and are quick to throw on. Anything with ruffles, flowers, or dainty details. I always aim for\u00a0effortless<\/span>. But no matter what I wear, you won\u2019t catch me without rose gold jewelry on!<\/p>\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

implementing necessary changes to ensure every single person in the world has access to mental health education, diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n

The perfect day would be\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

traveling to a fun city, eating new foods and finding antique stores to hunt through!<\/p>\n

My first job was\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

at a prom and bridal shop when I was 16. I started out as a cashier and within 3 months moved to stylist, then seamstress and then helping sketch custom gowns for Jovani and Sherri Hill!<\/p>\n

My favorite escape<\/span>\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

my sewing room, you could lose me there for days at a time!<\/span><\/p>\n

My life\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

has had so much good and so much bad in such a short amount of time, but I rest in knowing that God\u2019s the author of my life and that\u2019s all that matters.<\/p>\n

I’m currently working on\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

moving away from designing couture pieces and starting a ready to wear line. This summer I\u2019m going into cut and sew production for the first time!!<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait for Phoenix Fashion Week because\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

it\u2019ll be the finale of a long summer of hard work from all 16 of the designers. We\u2019re all excited to see each other\u2019s final collections hit the runway! And then sleep for a while afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n

I saw it on a poster in the airport terminal when I stepped off the plane in Paris when I was 17. I love it because people are always underestimating me because I\u2019m younger!<\/p>\n

to show at Paris Fashion Week<\/span>! Or become successful enough to fund a sea otter exhibit at a local zoo…you know, the usual.<\/p>\n

My Pet Peeve(s)\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m extremely introverted so I always get upset with myself when I\u2019m trying to be a part of a conversation and I can\u2019t get a word in (like people are just supposed to\u00a0know\u00a0<\/i><\/span>I\u2019ve had something to say for a while now, right? haha). It\u2019s totally my fault-but Phoenix Fashion Week is helping me break out of my shell!<\/p>\n
