A typical day in my life includes\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

working out, having a cup of coffee, catching up\/responding to emails, setting forth on business duties, researching new ideas, filling orders, and designing new designs, making time with my wife.<\/p>\n

I was born\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

in Albuquerque, NM and grew up on the Acoma Pueblo for 18 years before moving off to attend college at Arizona State and live in AZ.<\/p>\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

the winters!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m listening to\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

a mix of music, whatever fits the mood. I\u2019m a rocker at heart so guitars crashing or soothing is good for me. I\u2019m into some avant-rock and EDM at the moment, Lindy + Vision, The Kills, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Rawkcztar.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

is very close and extensive. We\u2019ve always been close to extended family. Although my wife and I live away from family, we treasure all the times we have with them.<\/p>\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lloyd \u201cKiva\u201d New. Unfortunately he\u2019s made the journey away from us, but as the father of Native Fashion and being ahead of his time, I would have loved to share time to talk about life, culture, and fashion with him.<\/p>\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

a pencil and paper my weapons of choice\u2026 Ideas are always flowing and at the basic needs of an artist, this is what I would need. A pencil and paper captures thoughts, writes a letter, draws what\u2019s on my mind\u2026 an outlet of expression.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

an engineer or scientist.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m inspired by\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

the culture of my people, natural occurrences in nature, people, beliefs of the world.<\/p>\n

my mother.<\/p>\n

a comfortable 70 degree weather in Phoenix all the time!<\/p>\n

waking to a morning cup of coffee knowing every aspect of my life is in order.<\/p>\n

working for an automotive testing company as an instrumentation engineer.<\/p>\n

is constantly evolving and challenged by new ideas.<\/p>\n

my first true haute couture, collection. I am in a Fellowship in Santa Fe at the moment, working in residence at the School for Advanced Research. It\u2019s been a vision of mine to combine my ideas in jewelry\/metal work and fashion.<\/p>\n
