I was a single dad, and he\u2019s the guy I originally created the chocolate chip cookie recipe for <em>over<\/em> 30 years ago. Oh, now he is Mr. Nelson\u2019s Cookies\u00ae marketing manager, lives in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<p><strong>City you live in: <\/strong>Gold Canyon, AZ. Based of Superstition Mountains, stunning!<\/p>\n<p><strong>A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>up around 5 am, Work-out, make\/bake\/wrap\/ship (only employee!) 24 dozen (capacity) of Mr. Nelson\u2019s Cookies\u00ae to chocolate chip cookie devotees\u2019 throughout the U.S. five days a week in my 2500 square foot commercial bakery, and, then, catch-up with entrepreneurial wife at the end of day with a terrific glass of wine&#8230;mostly red, sometimes white.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I was born\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>in Bridgeton, NJ \u2013 South Jersey \u2013 hey, Messrs. Frankie Valli and Bruce Springsteen, all successful \u201cJersey Boys\u201d were <em>not<\/em> just born in North Jersey!<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Are you kidding? 300 plus days of cloudless skies<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m listening to\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pandora, Doo Wop. Told ya, born in South Jersey, near Philly, and now I\u2019m lost in the 50\u2019s &amp; 60\u2019s, listen to it all day in my bakery&#8230;<em>Mr. Nelson\u2019s Doo Wop Cookie Shop<\/em>, baby!<\/p>\n<p><strong>My family\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>is my heart &amp; soul! Wife (Michele, again, <em>crazy about her<\/em>!!! Married 20 years this year. Successful entrepreneur with Rodan and Fields), Mom (90, Pauline. NJ State Cooking Champion at age 16, no less! Still lives independently in yup, you guessed it, South Jersey), Son (Christian. Married to a great gal, two huskies, successful entrepreneur \/ my marketing manager), and Brother (Fred. A beyond terrific guy who lives with his family in Delaware).<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>my family!<\/p>\n<p><strong>One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>laughter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a teacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#8217;m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>my father and mother, very humble beginnings, great morals and values, and incredible work ethic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the guy in the mirror.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>everyone would be free, healthy and well-fed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m currently living it, see \u201cA typical day in my life includes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My first job was\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>working (very hard) on my grandfather\u2019s farm during my high school summers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>visiting my property with my family on the Delaware Bay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My life\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>is <em>perfect,<\/em>\u00a0could not be happier.
