A typical day in my life includes\u2026.<\/b><\/p>\n

an intense workout, exploring new ideas\/concepts\/designs for the R&R Surplus<\/a> Men\u2019s collection, a visit to my flagship R&R Surplus shop at Uptown Plaza topped off with a bartending shift at the family biz\u2026 The Duce<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I was born\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

in Chicago and moved to Arizona when I was four. I still consider Chi town home!<\/p>\n

My favorite thing(s) about Arizona<\/b>\u2026<\/p>\n

best weather in the world, great people, very much of a Chicago vibe.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m listening to\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

Russ Diemon, a very cool up and coming artist, mixed in with some of the old classics.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

is the epitome of trend setting and entrepreneurial spirit. Our concepts are always \u201corganic\u201d and geared toward authenticity, simplicity and innovation. We are a very close knit fun bunch\/team!<\/p>\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

hands down Joe Maddon, Manager of the world champion Cubbies!<\/p>\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

regular visits\/quality time with my dogs, Ozzie and Lou and cats, Starsky and Hutch.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

to a professional baseball player.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m inspired by\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

creative entrepreneurs who have not only great vision but the courage and ambition to pursue their dreams and ideas.<\/p>\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m surrounded by lots of very successful, inspirational, motivational people but I pride myself in being a self-starter and motivate myself.<\/p>\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

ironically I\u2019d like to see people put less value on \u201cmaterial\u201d (ironic because \u201cmaterials\u201d are what make my designs so unique) and more emphasis on humanitarian and environmental well being.<\/p>\n

The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

to start at the gym, next head over to my R&R Surplus<\/a> design studio and then, when she\u2019s in town, an evening with my girlfriend who attends Tulane University. \u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

My first job was\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

a bar back at The Duce at the age of 17 where I learned the service business from the ground up.<\/p>\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/b><\/p>\n

is our family summer house on Lake Michigan\u2026water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, and chilling with all of my favorite people.<\/p>\n

My life\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

my mom & dad have taught me to \u201clive for today but plan for tomorrow.\u201d I treat every day like a gift so believe that\u2019s why it\u2019s called \u201cthe present.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m currently working on\u2026<\/b><\/p>\n

the final stages of the R&R Surplus<\/a> Men\u2019s Fall 2017 collection which I\u2019ll be introducing in Las Vegas & NY in February.<\/p>\n
