Turns out I\u2019m really different than them \u2013 they\u00a0sometimes look at me like I\u2019m an alien \u2013 but we love each other anyway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/strong>is the sunshine and dryness. I had perpetually big hair in Texas from the humidity. Arizona is a good hair\u00a0state.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am listening to\u2026<\/strong>a mixed tape from a friend of a friend in San Francisco. It\u2019s kind of modern folk meets women\u2019s\u00a0empowerment. I listen to it over and over and it makes me happy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My family\u2026<\/strong>is comprised of a dear circle of friends (chosen family), my husband, dog, two cats and parents. My\u00a0husband and I are both only children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/strong>Oprah. I LOVE Oprah. She\u2019s my role model and her wisdom guides me personally and professionally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong>my friends. I value them more than anything in the world and they make life sweet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong>a psychologist. But my parents insisted on business so that\u2019s what I studied in college. But I\u2019ve always\u00a0been a personal development junkie and have now built a business around my passion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am inspired by\u2026<\/strong>powerful, authentic, smart women. As the dalai llama says, western women will change the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/strong>Oprah. She\u2019s built an empire and single handedly shifted the consciousness of the world by being\u00a0herself. That\u2019s the way to live.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/strong>helping people do what they love profitably.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The perfect day would be\u2026<\/strong>sleeping in, coffee over social media, breakfast on the patio of a fabulous resort with friends, an art film,\u00a0a little shopping, a long nap, and hosting a dinner party for all my favorite peeps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My first job was\u2026<\/strong>at The Gap. I folded t-shirts and sweaters with a plexi-glass mold. I was required to wear only Gap\u00a0clothing at work so I was decked out in denim with brightly colored sweater and matching socks with\u00a0loafers. This was the 80s\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>My favorite escape\u2026<\/strong>is floating in the pool. It\u2019s a non-negotiable for me during the summer months. Totally zen and\u00a0refreshing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My life\u2026<\/strong>is better than ever before. I\u2019m watching my dreams unfold and it\u2019s pretty darn exciting. I\u2019m often in awe\u00a0of how sweet life can be.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am currently working on\u2026<\/strong>getting published in national publications, taking the stage on larger platform and expanding Conscious\u00a0Connections to a second market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Always\u2026<\/strong>trust your intuition. No one has the answers for you but you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Never\u2026<\/strong>think anyone is better or has it easier than you. We all have our struggles and we\u2019re all brilliant, valuable\u00a0and worthy. And everything is OK.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite Quote\u2026<\/strong>One day, you will realize it was you all along.
