I come from a large family and I am the oldest of 8. I have always loved cooking and entertaining since I was very young. The restaurant industry has been my life for over 30 years. I wouldn\u2019t have it any other way.<\/p>\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/h3>\n

The smell of monsoons coming. It means summer is almost over and fall is coming.<\/p>\n

It will surprise some people but I can be a total metal head. I love Metallica.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026<\/h3>\n

Is everything to me. As crazy as we can be, we stick together.<\/p>\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

My brothers. I lost one brother at the age of 24 to Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome in’92 and just lost my youngest brother this past January to brain cancer. He was 40.<\/p>\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/h3>\n

A great Champagne and gin.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/h3>\n

An actor or a lawyer. They are kind of the same right?<\/p>\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/h3>\n

My daughter Michaela. I think she is amazing. Also, my boyfriend Ben has bacon wrapped things that no one has ever thought of.<\/p>\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/h3>\n

Myself. I am never satisfied. I want to pursue all expectations of myself.<\/p>\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

That everyone should have access to good healthy food. No one should go hungry.<\/p>\n

The perfect day would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

Cooking at home, sitting at a table with amazing food and drinks. Spending it with everyone I am close to.<\/p>\n

My first job was\u2026<\/h3>\n

In a pizza place called Pinocchio\u2019s. I once had a guy call to say he wanted so much sauce that it would taste like biting into an artery. Weird.<\/p>\n

My favorite escape\u2026<\/h3>\n

Going to Chicago or California to see friends and family . The food and cocktail scene is unbelievable.<\/p>\n

My life\u2026<\/h3>\n

Is still in progress. I look forward to the future every day.<\/p>\n

I’m currently working on\u2026<\/h3>\n

Building my business and the Children’s Museum of Phoenix Gala fundraiser in April, 2014.<\/p>\n
