Is the gorgeous sunny days, the diverse population and the ease of navigation while driving in the valley! (I can be directionally challenged!)<\/p>\n

I’m listening to\u2026<\/h3>\n

Pandora on my iPod. Everything from country oldies, to 80s and Disney movie songs.<\/p>\n

My family\u2026<\/h3>\n

Makes me crazy, keeps me sane.<\/p>\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

Either both of my grandmothers (they have both passed away) or the male cast of \u201cThe Fast and the Furious\u201d (don\u2019t judge).<\/p>\n

I say time to just hang out with my friends or family. My friends and family would probably say my IPhone.<\/p>\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/h3>\n

An Olympic-figure-Skating-Miss-America.<\/p>\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/h3>\n

And surrounded by strong, smart, resourceful, dedicated and hardworking co-workers. It\u2019s easy to do your best when you\u2019re surrounded by THE best.<\/p>\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s hard to choose just one, but probably my Mom and my 16 year-old daughter Zoe. They are both unapologetically unique, fierce, passionate and strong. Knowing that they are proud of me means everything.<\/p>\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

To cure cancer. Isn\u2019t that everyone\u2019s wish?<\/p>\n

The perfect day would be\u2026<\/h3>\n

Cooking and baking for a huge Sunday dinner with my husband and kids and parents, brothers and sisters-in-
\nlaw, nieces, nephews, and whatever \u201cstrays\u201d the family brings. Oh, with football.<\/p>\n

My first job was\u2026<\/h3>\n

A preschool teacher\u2019s aide at the age of 15. Thirty years later I\u2019ve never really left the field.<\/p>\n

My favorite escape\u2026<\/h3>\n

Is probably baking. There is something soothing about tinkering with the ingredients in a recipe that distracts and soothes me.<\/p>\n

My life\u2026<\/h3>\n

Is so very blessed, even if most friends think it would make a good sitcom.<\/p>\n

I’m currently working on\u2026<\/h3>\n

A million things, including initiating new methods for improving the quality of the education we provide at Sunrise and finding a way to routinely get my grown sons to still hang out with the family more often.<\/p>\n

Remember to count your blessings, or count to 10 before you speak in frustrations, or both.<\/p>\n

Never\u2026<\/h3>\n

QUIT. It\u2019s okay to \u201cretreat\u201d and \u201cregroup\u201d and come back at it from another angle though!<\/p>\n

I love quotes, and have a million favorites. Today\u2019s favorite is: \u201cit never hurts to just keep looking for the sunshine\u201d ~ Eeyore<\/p>\n

Biggest Dream\u2026<\/h3>\n

Retiring in paradise with my amazing Police Detective husband- I feel like we have been so busy \u201csurviving\u201d the days that the years have flown by and we have some serious \u201ccatching up to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
