Turn Your Shine On<\/a> is a wellness business offering alternative therapies, workshops, sessions, trainings, and retreats to guide women past the noise of conditioning, other people\u2019s expectations, and the triggers of trauma, into the truth of their authentic self so they can live their most thriving life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What is your \u201clife motto\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone can transform their trauma into wisdom, compassion, and more so that they not only feel healed but know they are more because of it, and that while they wouldn\u2019t choose to go through it again, they don\u2019t regret it either because they love who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evolving the self is my passion and I believe there is no greater act of service than healing our fractures, our pain that causes distortion and comes out sideways to cause trauma in others. If we all took responsibility for healing ourselves the world would be a very different place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me it was the moment I got attuned to Reiki. I knew I had found my purpose and honestly, I didn\u2019t really even realize I was becoming an entrepreneur or starting my own business. I just knew this was my work in the world and began doing it. And even though I\u2019ve been doing this work for 20 years it\u2019s only now that I\u2019m really doing the foundational work that will allow me to scale and to have more reach and impact.             <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: How do you feel best supported?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good question! I love being celebrated and words of affirmation is one of my love languages. I love when the universe brings me opportunities like this one. And I\u2019d love to have more team members to take what I\u2019m not great at or isn\u2019t the work I\u2019m meant to do off my plate.              <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s no other option for me. A 9-5 isn\u2019t in my wheelhouse and working for someone else sounds awful. I consider my work my greatest achievement other than my own transformation and evolution. And I just love it and that it teaches me to trust, myself and God or the universe.           <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, I love long, lazy mornings. Now put me on the beach with a cup of coffee, my partner beside me, we\u2019re touching but not talking, just engrossed by the waves and the sunlight sparkling on the water feeling our gratitude for it all. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What\u2019s one piece of advice you\u2019d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go big! Do it right. If you don\u2019t have the money to invest, consider taking out a loan and really set the foundation of your business with help from people who know what they\u2019re doing. AND first and foremost, make sure it\u2019s your passion, that you love some part of it and know that it will actually feed you and the life you\u2019re creating.        <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That I created work for myself that is my purpose and passion. That it\u2019s up to me when and how I work. And that it\u2019s a creative process and there\u2019s always more to learn and grow into. The possibilities are endless!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
