AZF: What is your \u201clife motto?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA: <\/strong>Make waves. I enjoy challenging the status quo to create positive change and leave a lasting impact on the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA:\u00a0<\/strong>I always envisioned working as an in-house counsel at a large corporation. Reaching this milestone felt like a big achievement, but it quickly became clear it wasn\u2019t the right path for me. I grew increasingly frustrated by the gatekeeping, the endless inefficiencies, and the constant pushback against change. It seemed like everyone was stuck in the past, especially when it came to technology and social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, I could see a wave of incredible product brands popping up online. They were doing amazing things but often didn’t have access to adequate legal support. Unfortunately, many corporations and old-school law firms are not well-versed in these areas. That’s when it clicked! I knew I could use my legal expertise to help these brands thrive. I wanted to create a space where female entrepreneurs felt empowered and supported, free from the legal jargon and mansplaining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: How do you feel best supported?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA:\u00a0<\/strong>I feel most supported when I’m part of an encouraging community of like-minded women. Before starting Abrams Law, I felt very unsupported in the corporate world, where competition and gatekeeping were accepted norms. Finding a supportive community like The Foundress, filled with genuine, kind-hearted women who are rooting for my success, has been incredibly helpful in boosting my confidence and fueling my growth.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remind myself of the obstacles I overcame to get to this point and the entrepreneurial grit that runs in my family. My grandfather helped liberate concentration camps during World War II and spent 50 years designing logos and ads before releasing his first typeface. He was a tireless advocate for civil rights and taught me the importance of perseverance, fighting for what’s right, and never giving up on dreams. His journey and support fuel my motivation to level the playing field and create a more equitable future for female-founded brands.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA:<\/strong> Knowing there\u2019s always another opportunity waiting. Every setback is a chance to fail fast, learn, and grow. The journey isn\u2019t about perfection \u2013 it\u2019s about resilience, embracing lessons, and staying focused on the bigger picture. Each challenge is just a stepping stone to something greater.      <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA: <\/strong>My perfect Saturday morning is throwing on a baseball cap and cowboy boots and heading over to take care of the rescue horses at Happy Hooves. It’s truly my happy place and brings me so much joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What\u2019s one piece of advice you\u2019d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA:\u00a0<\/strong>Get it in writing! Whether you\u2019re going into business with your bestie or collaborating with your favorite store, investing in solid contracts helps protect your brand and avoid costly legal disputes. To help ensure brands have access to these contracts, I launched Dream Shop<\/a> – a legal platform with affordable, easy-to-use contract templates designed to help product-based brands thrive at every stage of their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA: <\/strong>There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing my clients thrive. Knowing I played a part in their success is incredibly rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0Foundress<\/a>\u00a0is a creative community of female entrepreneurs established by Coley Arnold and Lindsey Holt, owners of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market.
