Meet Talisa Ordaz, founder & creative director of MUSE HAUS Creative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUSE HAUS Creative helps businesswomen create their brand through photos and videos. With an emphasis on capturing authentic expression, MUSE HAUSE Creative works to empower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand forms deeper connections through one-on-one service to help clients take the first steps in feeling confident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI cater to my clients in providing a real, authentic and honest experience to help them connect to the next version of themselves or their business. The goal is to help them see and trust in their own transformation so that authentic brand expression can flow in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What is your “life motto?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>\u201cWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire.\u201d One of my favorite quotes from Charles Bukowski, which has provided clarity across many points throughout my journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>I always felt that there was something more I wanted and needed to be doing than the 9-5. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but didn’t know what I wanted to pursue. I knew that it was my path when I hit a point in my life where I needed to take a step back and really ask myself what I wanted most. I intentionally visualized what my future self would be doing, what I’d look like, how I’d feel, who I’d work with and why – and I realized that I wanted to work with people through a creative scope to make them feel seen, empowered and connected. I’ve always craved connection and believe that through human connection, we can make waves of change and impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: How do you feel best supported?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>When I’m truly seen and understood by my community. Those who know me know that I am an extrovert in social environments (because I enjoy meeting new people and love my community), however, I am very much an introvert, so I usually find myself filling my cup at home or through energy practices (yoga, embodiment classes, energy work, etc).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>My mother. She’s a big reason for what I do and her support is unwavering. Overcoming the challenges makes it worth it. Living in a reactive world, I’ve learned that I’d rather lead with fierce kindness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>Waking up early, going for a walk with my pup, grabbing a coffee\/tea, and heading off on a road trip\/adventure with my partner and my dog! I love nature, so anywhere with good hikes where I can spend quality time offline is perfect for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What\u2019s one piece of advice you\u2019d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>I believe that the path of entrepreneurship chooses who it calls. If you feel it, believe in yourself enough to step into the unknown. Once you step through, you\u2019ve chosen yourself, you’ve chosen to be brave, to have courage in your own ability to make bold choices. Acknowledge the fear, and step into courage. What\u2019s beautiful about this journey is that you\u2019re never alone \u2014 the community surrounds you and is ready to embrace who you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TO: <\/strong>The fulfillment I feel when I’ve accomplished something in my business that’s created a positive impact in someone’s life. Yes, I’m an entrepreneur, but I’m an artist first. I pursue connection always and how I can be of service through my skills and talent. I love the freedom I have to work and create with women. I have learned, through many experiences and adversity, that it’s very beneficial to have hard experiences because I’ve learned more about myself and my work pushing through tough times, and celebrating the clarity and wins that have come after. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Foundress<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Foundress<\/a> is a creative community of female entrepreneurs established by Coley Arnold and Lindsey Holt, owners of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market. The women-led networking group currently has over 120 members who receive exclusive access to mentorship from experienced female entrepreneurs and industry leaders; community gatherings that feature expert speakers and the opportunity to connect with like-minded women; as well as monthly Mastermind Groups where members can brainstorm and collaborate together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
