Meet Addie Hawkins, Co-founder of Glow Marketing Solutions, dedicated to being the “good” in social media by creating content that not only uplifts a brand but is positive and uplifting for viewers.

“We are a social media marketing agency designed to help businesses accelerate their brand awareness starting with our expert social media management, then catalyzing our strategies using customized influencer campaigns and paid media strategies. I\u2019ve noticed many business owners struggle with keeping up a strong online presence, which can lead to missed opportunities and lost revenue, and we\u2019re here to change that. We are passionate about communicating the passion, message, and stories behind each and every business to the online community.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What is your \u201clife motto?\u201d<\/strong>
AH:<\/strong> Done is better than perfect. My fellow perfectionists feel me on this one!! Sometimes it’s so important to remind ourselves to just DO the thing, and throw it out into the world. Perfection is rarely (if ever) achievable, so just DO and don’t expect perfection. Trust yourself to figure it out as you go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?<\/strong>
AH:<\/strong> Yes, absolutely I did! I was the little girl selling home-made crafts on the playground. As a teenager, I dreamt of the day I was no longer working under someone else. As a young adult I tried on so many different entrepreneurial hats, desperately waiting for the right business idea to hit me. It wasn’t until I started dreaming up Glow with my business partner & best friend, Macey, that all my business owner dreams started to become a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: How do you feel best supported?<\/strong>
AH:<\/strong>\u00a0I feel best supported when I’m surrounded by my close friends and family. I feel so grounded when I’m surrounded by the people I love the most, and by the people that love me for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?<\/strong>\u00a0
AH:\u00a0<\/strong>Behind every challenge is a lesson, an opportunity to grow. It’s hard, sometimes, but the most important thing is reminding yourself in the midst of struggle that brighter skies are on the way. Maybe it’s silly, but I remind myself too that if I can experience the lowest of lows, then there must also be room to experience the highest of highs. One day, one minute, one step at a time, we must learn to experience life for the journey it is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF:<\/strong>\u00a0Describe your perfect Saturday morning.<\/strong>
AH:\u00a0<\/strong>Waking up late and spending a slow morning with my husband & two dogs. Turning the phone on DND and curling up on the couch to watch TV with my favorite person (and furry friends). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What\u2019s one piece of advice you\u2019d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?<\/strong>
AH:<\/strong>\u00a0Remember why you started. Tattoo it on your soul. Hold it close to your heart and never forget it. Draw on that “why” when the hard moments come. And always, ALWAYS, remember that business comes in seasons. Learn to embrace the winter, spring, summer, and fall. It’s all about learning to ride the waves, trusting the process, and taking care of your heart along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?<\/strong>
AH:\u00a0<\/strong>Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart, I have learned more about myself by diving into the world of owning a business. I have experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows, and being able to grow my way through all of it has been the most rewarding experience of my whole life. But also, getting to connect with other incredible business owners and learning the moving stories behind their own businesses brings me LIFE. Entrepreneurs are the most passionate and talented people I have ever met, it’s a community I wouldn’t trade for the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
