GW:\u00a0<\/strong>My life motto is “Strive for Excellence, Embrace the Journey.” This motto reminds me that the pursuit of excellence is a continuous and fulfilling journey. I believe in giving my best in everything I do, setting high standards, and constantly striving to improve. However, I also recognize that the journey itself, with its ups and downs, challenges, and growth, is just as important as the destination. It’s a reminder to savor the present moment, learn from every experience, and keep moving forward with determination and optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?<\/strong>
GW:\u00a0<\/strong>Subconsciously, I believe I always had an entrepreneurial spirit, although I didn’t fully comprehend how to channel it. I consistently felt a sense of restlessness while working in traditional office environments, and I yearned for an outlet for my creativity. I noticed that I thrived in small business settings more than in corporate structures, where I could make a more significant impact and have a direct connection with the work. It was through these experiences and self-reflection that I began to realize that entrepreneurship was the right path for me. The desire for greater autonomy, the drive to bring my creative ideas to life, and a preference for smaller, more agile work environments all pointed me toward this fulfilling journey of entrepreneurship.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: How do you feel best supported?<\/strong>
GW:\u00a0<\/strong>As a woman real estate agent, I feel best supported when I have access to a network of like-minded professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities in the industry. Networking and mentorship programs specifically designed for women in real estate are incredibly valuable. Additionally, a workplace or agency that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities fosters an environment where I can thrive. This includes providing training and resources that address any potential gender-specific obstacles in the field. Finally, a supportive work-life balance, such as flexible schedules or family-friendly policies, is essential to accommodate the various responsibilities and commitments that come with being a woman in the real estate industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?<\/strong>
GW:<\/strong>\u00a0What motivates me to persevere through the challenges of entrepreneurship is the unwavering belief in my vision and the desire to create something meaningful. Every obstacle, setback, or adversity becomes an opportunity for growth and learning, and that in itself is a powerful motivator. Additionally, the knowledge that I have the ability to shape my own destiny and make a positive impact in my industry keeps me fueled with determination. The support of my team, mentors, Family and the satisfaction of seeing progress, even in small steps, reinforces my commitment to the entrepreneurial journey. Ultimately, it’s the passion for what I do and the aspiration to leave a lasting mark on the world that drives me to keep going, no matter the challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.<\/strong>
GW:<\/strong>\u00a0While it’s true that real estate often keeps me busy throughout the weekend, a perfect Saturday morning for me would start with a moment of quiet reflection, sipping a cup of coffee. It’s essential for me to find time for myself, even in a demanding profession. I also cherish the opportunity to get some exercise while enjoying the company of my dogs, as it allows me to unwind and recharge. Sharing a nice breakfast with my family is a heartwarming part of the day. Of course, helping my clients with their real estate needs is a commitment I take seriously, and it’s fulfilling to assist them, even on a Saturday. So, a perfect Saturday morning, in my world, combines moments of personal reflection, family time, exercise, and the satisfaction of providing excellent service to my clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AZF:\u00a0What\u2019s one piece of advice you\u2019d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?<\/strong>
GW:<\/strong>\u00a0One piece of advice I’d offer to a young entrepreneur starting out is to prioritize finding a knowledgeable mentor early in your journey. A mentor can provide guidance, share valuable insights, and help you navigate the challenges and uncertainties of entrepreneurship. Don’t hesitate to ask questions and seek assistance when needed; it’s a sign of strength, not weakness. Additionally, be open to outsourcing tasks or areas where you may not have expertise, recognizing that no one can do everything alone. Continual learning is vital, so maintain a hunger for knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends. Above all, remember that perseverance is key; don’t give up when faced with obstacles or setbacks. Success often involves resilience and the ability to adapt and learn from your experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
