A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong>Starbucks & school drop-off. Catching up on phone calls & emails from the East Coast, then Central & West Coast. All about due diligence on land opportunities, bidding & preparing budgets, design and entitlement, ongoing construction, reviewing staffing needs & checking in on our teams. And that\u2019s up until 9am.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born\u2026<\/strong> in Nebraska and grew up in northeast Colorado. Hard work and an agricultural background is the foundation for my personal growth and work ethic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong>Fall and Winter in the desert are unbeatable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m listening to\u2026 <\/strong>Anything Chill. Norah Jones is a classic. Glass animals, Rufus Du Sol, and Odesza are some of my go-tos <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026<\/strong>is my number one priority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>Steve Jobs. He was visionary and cared about the function as well as the artistic value of his products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong> Easy. The garbage truck driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong>the Tricor team. Their loyalty, dedication, hard work, and ability to navigate through ups and downs inspires me daily. Being part of a team that has a shared goal and is sprinting toward success as a group is incredible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong>My dad. I try to reflect his work ethic and strive to be the kind of father he was to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>to find a solution for addressing homelessness at the community level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026 <\/strong>helping my family start one of the first regional recycling centers in the early 90\u2019s\u2026 might have been undocumented labor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong>Creating and streamlining processes and expanding Tricor into new markets. Scaling in such a way that our new market mobilization is a smooth process for everyone in volved. Focusing on our build for rent clients and 3rd<\/sup> party building for multiple clients in markets across the US. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bio-on yourself\/company: <\/strong>Joel Thomas is Tricor\u2019s EVP of Development and Construction and is directly responsible for overseeing Tricor\u2019s continued nationwide expansion in offering pre-development services through lease-up. Currently, Joel is managing entitlements, design, and construction on multiple projects across the US. Joel is involved with every aspect of the development process and helps to lead investors and team members through the process. Tricor is a Build for Rent, turnkey construction provider offering services nationwide. Tricor has a streamlined process, national accounts and suppliers and a national standard that allows us to operate the same way in each of the market where we are active. Tricor\u2019s continuous growth and can-do mentality has allowed Tricor to open offices in Tampa and Raleigh as well as start a new construction division. <\/p>\n<\/div>
