A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong>Collaborating with local artists, cleaning paint brushes and pallets, giving tours of Brightside Studios to excited creatives, working with a fantastic staff, and going home to a wonderful family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born\u2026 <\/strong>In Phoenix! Grew up near 32nd<\/sup> Street and Shea \u2013 went to Shadow Mountain High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong>Its growing identity. Arizona has been searching for its own identity and culture \u2013 something to grab onto – for a long time now and feels like it is finally settling on something. Artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m listening to\u2026 <\/strong>Oddly enough, we are currently rockin\u2019 the house with Jimmy Buffett! Tonight is our Parrothead Tribute Night, accompanied by a commemorative Parrothead Paint & Sip Class. We are dressed up in our best island gear and expecting a couple hundred people to come join in the fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026 <\/strong>Is the most important thing in my life. I am extremely lucky to be able to work alongside my wife, sister, parents, and children.  It\u2019s a family owned and operated business, and the Kuenn\u2019s enjoy every minute of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>I know you are supposed this answer is supposed to be a historical leader or sports star \u2013 but as our time becomes harder to find together \u2013 I would love to have a nice, quiet dinner with my wife, Vanessa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong>Chocolate milk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026 <\/strong>In the NBA<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m inspired by\u2026 <\/strong>Creatives, of course. But anyone who puts in genuine effort to help those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong>My father. I owe everything to him. I want to make him proud and use the skills he taught me to make this world a better place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>Wealth inequality, and injustice among underserved communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026<\/strong> I was a pool boy! I don\u2019t have any interesting stories with those sexy stay at home moms, whereever they are, but plenty of stories with angry old men losing wild animals in their vacuums! Bleh…not for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong>I am a late bloomer, but when I was 27 I discovered painting.  It\u2019s what inspired my wife and I to start Brightside Studios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My life\u2026 <\/strong>is shorter than I expected. But more precious than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong>Beating cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
