is waking up and looking at my husband and saying. “Guess what? It is going to be sunny today!” \u00a0We moved her 7 years ago after years spent in Kansas City, Chicago, Philadelphia and Rochester, NY. \u00a0I love not having to check the weather before we go hiking, golfing or mountain biking. \u00a0Another thing I love, are Staycations. \u00a0We have the best resorts here. \u00a0I love that you can drive 3 miles and feel like you are miles away from your home.<\/p>\n

the lead singer in a rock band. \u00a0Then, my aspirations changed dramatically to dreaming of being an attorney practicing international law. \u00a0I have always been fascinated with other cultures. \u00a0This led me to major in French and Secondary Education. \u00a0I taught for 6 years in order to save up enough money to pay for law school. \u00a0After law school, I didn’t quite make it to my international law dream, however, \u00a0I practiced as a corporate attorney specializing in asset protection. I have now moved on to real estate which allows me to use so many skills I used while practicing law.<\/p>\n

as a 12 year old, I worked bottling a cleaning chemical called “Forsight” \u00a0for a family member. \u00a0It paid little to nothing, but I felt the little bit of money gave me independence. \u00a0My first real job was as a High School French Teacher in Overland Park, Kansas. \u00a0I learned so much from my students.<\/p>\n
My favorite escape\u2026<\/h3>\n
any beach with my with family, a boogie board and a good book. My favorite beaches are Coronado, La Jolla and Rocky Point.<\/p>\n

Biggest Dream…<\/h3>\n
is to start a foundation for children in Phoenix. There are so many worth causes that I don’t think I could ever pick just one. I currently am on two committees in the Valley helping raise money to prevent domestic violence and help families get out of homelessness. With my own foundation, \u00a0I will raise money to be distributed each year to children’s charities that are the most in need of the funds. \u00a0These would include charities that work with special needs, child abuse and neglect, homelessness, childhood cancers, diabetes, \u00a0and learning disabilities. \u00a0I would also use the foundation to set up a free legal clinic for families with children with special needs and disabilities who need an advocate.<\/p>\n
My Pet Peeve(s)…<\/h3>\n
when people don’t return the shopping cart. \u00a0Really? \u00a0Especially in this climate. \u00a0It’s not snowing on us. \u00a0It’s not pouring down rain. Okay, given 4 months out of the year, you may get sunburned returning the cart, but come on…walk an extra 20 steps and return your cart.<\/p>\n
