A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong>Getting up early and going to the gym. Pick up coffee for me and a vanilla latte for Claudia.\u00a0Get ready and head to the office for a day of work.\u00a0Some days are about business, others are about casework.\u00a0But all days involve working with the firm\u2019s other litigators so that all of our clients get the representation that I expect.\u00a0At the end of the day, I head home for dinner and a glass of wine with Claudia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born\u2026<\/strong>in Tucson, AZ in 1969<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/strong>is the fact that it is open and life is normal.\u00a0I have a newfound respect for freedom that I have gained by being in Arizona over the past two years.\u00a0Second to that is the sunsets, especially when in Tucson, and diverse scenery.\u00a0The beauty of Southern Arizona is different from Phoenix, which is much different from Northern Arizona.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m listening to\u2026<\/strong>music that moves my spirit and forces the stress to melt away.\u00a0 One of my favorites is an artist named Parijat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026<\/strong>is why I wake up each morning and do everything that I do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/strong>my wife Claudia.\u00a0We have had thousands of dinners together and I hope for thousands more.\u00a0We have been married for twenty years and I am more excited about our next twenty years together than anything else.\u00a0 She makes all my tomorrows better than my yesterdays, which is the best gift ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong>the regular trips to tropical paradises that Claudia and I take.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong>a guy who worked with the ski patrol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m inspired by<\/strong>\u2026people who are kind, open, and joyful.\u00a0 These are things that I aspire to be but am not always successful at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is<\/strong>\u2026me.\u00a0This is one thing that I will take credit for.\u00a0 I have always been self-motivated and believe that success requires that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be<\/strong>\u2026 judgment.\u00a0I\u2019m a big believer in live and let live.\u00a0Don\u2019t tell me how to live my life and I won\u2019t tell you how to live yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was<\/strong>\u2026washing cars, cleaning the service department and bathrooms,\u00a0 and being a laborer at my dad\u2019s small-town Ford dealership.\u00a0 I learned hard work for about $1.00 \/ hour.\u00a0 When I was in trouble it was .25 cents\/hour.\u00a0Looking back, it really was a gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026<\/strong>these days it\u2019s Tulum with Claudia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My life<\/strong>\u2026has been amazing so far.\u00a0I have been extremely fortunate and am grateful for all of the wonderful experiences that I have had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m currently working on\u2026<\/strong>the next evolution of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always\u2026<\/strong>be grateful for the time that we have.\u00a0Cherish those who you love. I used to think that life was long, but I\u2019ve learned that is not always the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Pet Peeve(s)\u2026<\/strong>egos that are too big, people who aren\u2019t self-aware, people who are self-absorbed, cowards who hide behind the anonymity of the internet, lazy people, people who believe that they can build themselves up by tearing someone else down\u2026\u2026basically mean people and haters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bio-on yourself\/company:\u00a0<\/strong>Doug Zanes grew up on the Arizona\/Mexico border in Douglas, Arizona.\u00a0His parents were entrepreneurs and small business owners.\u00a0Doug enjoyed growing up in a small town and is grateful to have had so much exposure to the Mexican culture during his childhood.\u00a0\u201cI have always loved spending time in Mexico, and this began when I was growing up in Douglas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doug started Zanes Law Injury Lawyers with his wife Claudia in 2003 in Tucson.\u00a0Doug was the lawyer and Claudia was the business person.\u00a0Together, they quickly built what is now the biggest personal injury law firm brand in Southern Arizona.\u00a0Then in 2015 they expanded the firm to Phoenix, the city that they now call home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zanes Law Injury Lawyers is a litigation personal injury law firm.\u00a0Our focus is catastrophic injury litigation, wrongful death litigation, and civil rights litigation, and we pride ourselves on our ability to get six and seven-figure case resolutions.\u00a0Our ability to do this has allowed us to collect almost $500,000,000 in case settlements for our clients over the past
