A typical day in my life includes\u2026 <\/strong>Some morning prayer, check out the news and Instagram on my phone over coffee with my wife, then work — which could be making phone calls for work, real estate stuff, looking up new lines for the store, texting ideas with my wife, running out to take care of errands, try and fit in the gym, more work, more coffee, think about Mexican food, ask my wife last minute to go on a date night or get Mexican food with the kids, hang out with the family\u2026maybe watch some sports or a movie with them, work on my phone during that time as well even though I am trying to be better about being more present, get in bed and read or do more work or surf auction sites or Instagram for the shop until I can\u2019t keep my eyes open\u2026 wake up, repeat.\u00a0 Basically, it is a day filled with \u201csquirrel!\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born\u2026<\/strong> into a huge Phoenix family who mostly still lives here in town.\u00a0 My kids are 5th<\/sup> generation natives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026 <\/strong>the differing landscapes you can experience within such short distances from the city.\u00a0 Amazing mountains.\u00a0 The prettiest dessert you have ever seen.\u00a0 The canyons are breathtaking.\u00a0 Red rocks.\u00a0 Pine trees and forest.\u00a0 Snow.\u00a0 The most amazing sunsets and crazy monsoons and lightning, but no real natural disasters.\u00a0 And the fact that so much of the state is still out there to be explored in its natural state.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m listening to\u2026 <\/strong>Gregory Alan Isakov.\u00a0 Pretty much on and off forever.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026 <\/strong>Parents still live here in town and are young.\u00a0 My dad was born in \u201854 and mom in \u201856 and they have 29 grandkids.\u00a0 I have three brothers and two sisters, and we all love each other and get along.\u00a0 I am honestly so lucky.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>That is too hard.\u00a0 Too many to choose from.\u00a0 Alive? Dead? Is it my last meal? Does it have to be someone who I haven\u2019t had dinner with before? I don\u2019t know. How about the President? I will just leave it at that.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026 <\/strong>sweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong> a magician or a musician.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/strong> strength of character, honesty, and people who are true to themselves no matter what the consequences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026 <\/strong>myself.\u00a0 No, I am not a narcissist.\u00a0 But if I don\u2019t motivate myself, then I am done. I am my own biggest critic.\u00a0 And never am satisfied with who I am or what I am doing or what I have accomplished or how good of a man I have or have not become.\u00a0 And that motivates me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 t<\/strong>hat everyone respected, with kindness, everyone\u2019s beliefs and opinions, even if they disagree with them.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong>coffee, donuts, exercise, live music, mountains, maybe some time on a lake, good food, family, no arguing, great weather, a good movie, sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026<\/strong>working on a watermelon farm doing grunt work and selling watermelons to local food stands and markets.\u00a0 60-100 hours a week over the summers here in AZ. When I was 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong>Telluride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My life… <\/strong>was meant to move mountains.\u00a0 Still working on it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m currently working on\u2026 <\/strong>being a better man. Always a work in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Always\u2026 <\/strong>follow the golden rule.\u00a0 Yeah, I know it is clich\u00e9. But it is the best rule for a reason.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biggest Dream\u2026 <\/strong>To make a living writing music and to be extremely successful to the point where I could change people\u2019s lives financially on a daily basis through random acts of charity or kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
