As Mother\u2019s Day approaches, we here at AZFoothills.com wanted to highlight several local women in the Valley who are not just mothers but overall BOSSES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next few weeks, stay tuned as we highlight more fantastic and incredible women in this amazing city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by her two children, E-Squared Marketing is a marketing company created by mother, Ashley Richards that provides a remote working option for mothers who want to nurture and further their careers whilst still being able to spend time with their children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before starting E- Squared Marketing, Richards decided to quit her job and started doing marketing consulting on her own. Calling herself a \u201cdigital dinosaur\u201d, Richards has been in the marketing industry for over fifteen years. After several referrals and having an overabundance of work, Richards gathered a few of her marketing friends and that is when E Squared Marketing was formed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With only 13 employees, E-Squared Marketing has over 40 clients including but not limited to Arrowhead Towne Center, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Desert Mom\u2019s Blog, and many others. Their services include social media marketing, digital newsletter campaigns, influencer marketing, branding, ad management, website, and graphic design, as well as customizing virtual events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richards says that the women at E-Squared Marketing work from a \u201clifestyle perspective.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our priority is our kids and our families, so feeding our kids, getting them ready for the day, getting them dressed, and getting their school set up. <\/p>– Ashley Richards<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

When COVID-19 hit, the ladies at E-Squared Marketing adjusted with ease as they had already been working from home. They were able to be a constant within the community without the struggle of having to adjust to a new workspace. They were also able to be there for their kids when virtual schooling became the new normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It really has been incredible to be that opportunity for women and moms because I’ve been there. I’ve been in that tough situation where I felt like I had to choose between being a mother and having a career.
