A typical day in my life includes\u2026<\/strong> I am a live-in nanny, so most mornings, I wake up the boys and get them ready for school. Afterward, I come back home and get started on my schoolwork. When I finish that day’s assignments, I formulate, package, and ship out products for Loopin\u2019 Locs. I like to squeeze in a Zoom yoga class with any remaining time in the day before dinner!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona\u2026<\/strong>is the mountains and sunsets. I love to go on a nice hike right before sundown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m listening to\u2026<\/strong> anything Jhene Aiko!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026<\/strong> is extremely supportive, and I want to do everything in my power to make them proud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026<\/strong> Rihanna, I would want to get to know more about her life story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong> is sweets! I have an incredible sweet tooth and go through phases of eating the same dessert every day for a couple of weeks until I switch to the next sweet thing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be\u2026<\/strong> a Physical Therapist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/strong> my mom. She was a single parent and when I was growing up I would see her work three jobs at a time just to provide for us. I aspire to have her work ethic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/strong> my Gramma. When I find myself slipping, she is always there encouraging me to keep striving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026<\/strong>providing better care for kids in the foster system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfect day would be\u2026<\/strong>relaxing at a resort all day and then going out to a nice dinner in the evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026<\/strong>bagger at a grocery store. Even though it might not be the most glamorous title, I learned so much from that position that will help me to be a well-rounded businesswomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026<\/strong>is driving at night in the rain listening to And I Am Telling You I\u2019m Not Going by Jennifer Holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My life\u2026<\/strong> is hectic, but that is how I like it! I am currently a pre-med student at Arizona State University, and I recently applied to the Mayo Clinic\u2019s Echocardiography Program. I spend every Wednesday interning at Hospice of the Valley. I am also a live-in nanny, which is so much fun, I encourage every college student to do it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I like to try to do at least three yoga sessions a week. And on top of all of that, I decided to start my own business, Loopin\u2019 Locs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
