A typical day in my life includes:<\/strong> Being a mom first, a wife second and always working on something, currently Janice\u2019s Women\u2019s Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was Born:<\/strong> In San Diego, CA, Yes! I am a Cali Girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Favorite thing about Arizona:<\/strong> I can honestly say, there is plenty of opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family:<\/strong> Is hilarious. We joke, laugh and we are straight up goof balls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be:<\/strong> Jane Fonda, she is an amazing actress, and I am curious to see how her personality is off set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I can not live without:<\/strong> Hands down my \u201cChapstick\u201d if I was on naked and afraid my one item would be chap stick. I guess I am going to be hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be<\/strong>: I wanted to be a singer first, I even went to the American Idol auditions. My back up would be, I wanted to be a lawyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am inspired by:<\/strong> I am inspired by my ability to keep going, despite my painful past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me:<\/strong> Wow! My wife and Kids motivate me to keep going. I want the best for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be:<\/strong> People\u2019s Mindset, some people just have the worse train of thoughts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfect day would be:<\/strong> The day Janice\u2019s Women\u2019s Center is a success story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was:<\/strong> My first job was at a Veterinarian clinic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape:<\/strong> The Beach. I am a Cali girl and we just moved to Phoenix from Miami, It\u2019s all about the water baby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My life:<\/strong> Ha been a true testament of Faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently working on:<\/strong> Being more patient, learning that nothing happens when you want it to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More About Shante Saulsberry:
<\/strong>My name is Shante Saulsberry, and I am one of the Founders and CEO of Janice\u2019s Women\u2019s Center. A center for homeless women and women suffering from domestic violence. Not only am I one of the founders of a domestic violence center, but I am also a domestic violence survivor myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been through a lot in my 38 years of life and when asked \u201cIf you had a superpower, what would it be?\u201d Mine would be to heal.
