A typical day in my life includes\u2026<\/strong>Lots of pivots in whatever artsy direction I feel like. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born\u2026 <\/strong>in Smithtown, NY. I am a proud New Yorker but lost my accent. I could turn it back on at any time though!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite thing about Arizona is… <\/strong>the dry weather and sunsets. I would take warm over cold any day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m listening to\u2026<\/strong>Goalcast, motivational podcasts, Pandora depending on my mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My family\u2026<\/strong>is my world. Quarantine is agreeable with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>My Grandpa. He was the greatest. Always happy and we would eat chocolate together once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I cannot live without\u2026<\/strong>art supplies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I was younger, I wanted to be… <\/strong>an artist. I named my storefront studio Be…An Artist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m inspired by\u2026<\/strong>positive people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one person who motivates me is\u2026<\/strong>my Mom is a great motivator. She always told me to do what I love, and that was the best advice I ever received. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I could change anything in the world, it would be\u2026 <\/strong>the amount of hate going on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfect day would be\u2026 <\/strong>Make art, spend quality time with my family, make art, spend quality time with my family, inspire others through art, spend time with my family and chat with friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first job was\u2026 <\/strong>selling berries off my boysenberry tree when I was about 7 years old <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favorite escape\u2026 <\/strong>A place in upstate New York. A quiet lake, boats, and family history. We go there to paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More About Sandra Marshall:
<\/strong>I have been an artist my entire life. I paint, sculpt, create colorful food art, write, teach, and work with all forms of art media.  My life\u2019s mission is to spread the joy of art and creativity to everyone I meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I owned a creative studio in Ahwatukee for five years and it was one wild and creative ride! We had live entertainment, painting classes and events, comedy nights, and shows.  I also owned a company for several years called \u2018Porta a Porta\u2019 where I would take inspiring artists back and forth from the United States to Italy to learn to paint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have my degree in Early Childhood Education from ASU.  I closed my studio, Be…An Artist, to have more time to paint, write, and follow my imagination. In addition to creating art on a full-time basis, I have a line of boutique painting boxes, books, calendars, and other products.
