A typical day in my life includes…It starts early with calls from Mexico on everything from production to dry goods and supplies and the distillery and the compliance. I am constantly staying in touch with our distributers as we continue to expand. Oh, and lots of competitive soccer with my 10-year-old son.

I was born…in New Jersey.

My favorite thing about Arizona…the sunrise!

I’m listening to…music all over the spectrum. I listen to a lot of Latin and reggae music. We are a very musical house, so there is always something on.

My family…laughs at me a lot.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Ernest Hemingway because of his understated way in which he summed up life is priceless and the incredible adventures that he went on.

One thing I cannot live without…water? Second only to Tequila Corrido😊

When I was younger, I wanted to be…an adventurer. A national geographic explorer. I wanted to discover new places.

The one person who motivates me is…my wife, Olivia. It’s more fear but motivation is motivation.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… I would make us a world that listens and doesn’t judge.

The perfect day would be…waking up in Mallorca with my family with an adult breakfast beverage in hand during brunch.

My first job was…I’ve had so many! I used to shovel snow off the neighbors’ driveways and porches, I was a short order cook, and I even mowed lawns and handed out handwritten invoices.

My favorite escape…Travel.

My life…is amazing and an adventure.

I’m currently working on…growing Tequila Corrido and expanding it across the United States. We are launching in Texas!

Always…stick to it.

Never…Quit!

Favorite Quote… “The best decision is the right decision, the second-best decision is the wrong decision, the worst decision is no decision at all.”

Biggest Dream…I want to be the most successful person no one has ever heard of.

My Pet Peeve(s)…Folks that bring you problems and not solutions.

Bio-on yourself/company: Anthony “Tony” Boyle is admittedly terrible at directions. Noting this, it serves as no surprise that he took a long and circuitous path to his professional destiny as Partner and COO of Tequila Corrido (salud! to the things worth waiting for.)

Tony brings to the business world the qualities that best defined his long career in law enforcement: level-headed leadership, a clear sense of right and wrong, a commitment to transparency, unparalleled crisis management, and research and investigative abilities needed to make strategic business decisions.

Bilingual in Spanish, Tony first immersed himself in the tequila industry after retiring from LE and joining an environmental biotech. In 2010, and at the request of the Mexican Government, a waste remediation project took him to some of the best-known tequila distilleries in the world. Tony worked with the industry to design wastewater remediation systems capable of treating billions of liters of vinazas, or liquid waste resulting from tequila production. The waste stream was wreaking havoc on the Jalisco environment.

Armed with this insight, perspective, and reverence for the traditions of making of tequila, he jumped at the opportunity to partner with businessman Mike Watts and restaurateur Brian Raab to relaunch the then dormant brand.

From purchasing the agave and the barrels, the bottles, corks and iconic guitar pick that goes around each bottle’s neck, to supervising production and handling imports, Tony manages all the details that go into crafting an ultra-premium tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, and bringing the spirit to market in the United States.

Tony has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. He retired from the Mesa Police Department in good standing in AZ.
