After much anticipation, 90-acre Seven Desert Mountain<\/a> is now open with a fresh course, a killer clubhouse and around 190 new places to call home. With even just a quick glance at all the goodness this fresh community has to offer, it is easy to see why its members are in seventh heaven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But of Course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No. 7, which serves as the focal point of Seven, was designed by Bill Brownlee and Wendell Pickett and clocks in at 3,114 yards. The championship 18-hole, par-54 course is designed to embrace the fun, social side of the sport for all ages and skill levels. No. 7 introduces a new concept of an alternative teeing bunker on each hole, known as the \u201cSandy,\u201d which allows golfers to play 18 holes teeing off from a bunker. This enables players to practice their short-game approach shots from the sand\u2014or just have some fun on course. Plus, from the front tees, golfers can play 14 of the 18 holes with a putter; the average golfer can play all 18 holes with two or three clubs, offering a unique golfing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visually speaking, No. 7 resembles a dreamlike desert parkland, with a babbling stream running through. The course is so lovely, in fact, that many golfers choose to walk the course to take in the beauty that surrounds instead of whizzing past it on a cart. No. 7\u2019s good looks can even been enjoyed from the outdoor dining area that overlooks the 18th<\/sup> hole and the putting course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join\nthe Club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go\nfor the golf; stay for Seven Desert Mountain community\u2019s new clubhouse. \u201cHomeowners at Seven will become members of Desert\nMountain Club as part of their property purchase, gaining access to a suite of\nworld-class private club amenities,” says Desert Mountain Club CEO Damon\nDiOrio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed by Scottsdale\u2019s Drewett Works,\nthe clubhouse is easily walkable from the homes in the neighborhood and marks\nthe ideal destination for around-the-clock amusement. First of all, the\nclubhouse is stunning\u2014but far from snooty\u2014with collapsible glass walls that\nblend the outdoors with the indoors. The venue is casual and approachable, with\nan indoor-outdoor gastropub, two bocce ball courts and five fire pits, all of\nwhich will allow for hours of quality time off the course. There is even a\nprivate alfresco dining area for member use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSeven seemed like the perfect fit for us since it was a new, contemporary\/modern community; plus we had decided to downsize and still wanted to be in Desert Mountain,\u201d says Cindy and Ernie Payne, who were the first homeowners in Seven Desert Mountain and Desert Mountain Club members since 1999. \u201cWe love the new restaurant; it seems alive, young and trendy. We also love the golf course. It lets you know real quick what [you] need to work on to become better golfers. The short game is key.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movin\u2019 On Up<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the course and clubhouse, three distinguished builders\u2014Cullum Homes, Family Development and Camelot Homes (pictured)\u2014have made moving to Seven Desert Mountain thoroughly desirable, offering a range of villas, homes and luxury stacked-flat condominiums. “Seven Desert Mountain not only offers a variety of unique living opportunities, these modern and luxurious residences will offer breathtaking views of greater Phoenix and surrounding mountains and valley,” says DiOrio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cullum Homes is now selling its collection of luxury lifestyle residences. Homes at the Village at Seven Desert Mountain offer four distinctive base floor plans from 3,304 to 4,228 square feet and allow for customization to more than 9,000 square feet on certain home sites (there are 33 home sites in total, many of which with golf course or mountain views). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get a true taste of what\u2019s in store at the Village at\nSeven Desert Mountain, Cullum Homes\u2019 spectacular 9,300-sq.-ft. model home is\nslated for completion in Spring 2020. It will spotlight the \u201c19th Hole\u201d\nbasement entertainment zone with an indoor golf simulator, glass-enclosed\ncollector car showroom, a theater, a wet bar and other amenities; a casita; a\nthree-car garage with a \u201ccar elevator\u201d; and more. Home prices start at\n$1,995,000 prior to customization of the home and lot selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family Development is currently taking reservations at The Retreat at Seven Desert Mountain, a collection of 45 luxurious, low-maintenance, stacked-flat condominiums that are mere steps from the new Seven clubhouse. Homes within The Retreat range in size from 2,414 to 2,716 square feet, each with a private patio, a gourmet kitchen, a large great room and\u00a0views onto the No. 7 golf course as well as long-range mountain and valley views. The five-unit condominium buildings within the Family Development project feature three different designs with two of the units on the ground floor and three units on the second level with access from the owner\u2019s private elevator. All homes also offer a lavish Owner’s Suite; a spacious Junior Suite for guests; a third room that can function as a den, a media room or an additional bedroom; and an attached 2.5-car garage.\u00a0Construction of the models just kicked off, with completion set for Spring 2020. Home prices are projected to start from $1.3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camelot Homes is now\nselling The Villas, deluxe lock-and-leave single-family homes with floor\nplans from 2,600 to 4,500 square feet and two to four bedrooms. The Villas\noffer residents a cool, contemporary style with a great room, a three-car\ngarage, guest suites, soaring ceilings and jaw-dropping panoramic views. One-\nand two-story plans are available at The Villas, with elevators included in the\nlatter. Forty-nine home sites are featured within the Camelot Homes project,\nwith a whopping 46 of them located on No. 7 golf course. Model homes are slated\nfor completion this month.
