If your wine glass, plate, lamp, etc. breaks in transit, it is not recyclable. If you can&#8217;t fix it, you&#8217;ll have to throw it out and it will sit in a landfill. And if the broken items contains liquid like olive oil or syrup, then you run the risk of it ruining other items. Packing with care means your items will have a longer life.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>3. <strong>Pack items in your suitcases, duffle bags, backpacks, laundry baskets, large pots.<\/strong> Again, using items you already have is the most sustainable option there is.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>4. <strong>Rent moving boxes instead of buying them.<\/strong> Cardboard boxes can typically be reused one to three times, unless you are moving on a rainy day or during a monsoon. Plastic moving bins can be used 400-plus times.
