The expansion of the Country Club at DC Ranch not only brings a new fitness center, group exercise rooms, a resort-style pool, a casual indoor dining room, a poolside kitchen, an expanded ladies\u2019 lounge, a larger clubhouse kitchen, enhanced golf practice areas and course enhancements, but it also means welcoming a new director of fitness and wellness, Danielle Fryer. Fryer is eager to create a powerful fitness community at the new-and-improved Country Club at DC Ranch. \u201cI\u2019m mostly looking forward to sharing the day in and day out, time, energy, creative education and having lots of fun with my Club community,\u201d she says. \u201cI\u2019m excited to bring not only movement programming but also nutrition and mindfulness programming, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fryer plans to offer quarterly incentive programming and clinics\u2014even quirky fitness outings, like fitness bowling. To take advantage of the beautiful Scottsdale surroundings and the Valley\u2019s superior temps, there will be many outdoor adventures available to members, too. In addition to hiking and road and mountain biking adventures, Fryer also anticipates an annual fitness adventure retreat to shake things up.<\/p>\n
And the fresh programming and amenities available at the Country Club at DC Ranch won\u2019t just offer best-in-class opportunities to the adults members; with additions like a tween room and an expanded kid\u2019s playroom, the littlest guests will have much to look forward to as well. \u201cOur goal is to connect in the realm of
\nhealth and fitness with toddlers, tweens, teens and adults of all ages and capabilities\u2014and reach the athletes too. Our schedule will include playful fitness classes, like scavenger hunts and dance, for example.\u201d Fryer says that all members can expect both lifestyle and sport-specific classes, like barre, Pilates, yoga, meditation, core performance, fascia recovery, balance work, strength training, lifting classes for both women and adolescents, tiny tumblers, neuro biomechanical training and more within the fitness-focused community.<\/p>\n
