The Burgbacher Building at Park Central in Phoenix has brought new life to its expansive basement space through a unique transformation. The previously underutilized area is being converted into a state-of-the-art self-storage facility, showcasing an innovative approach to revitalizing old spaces while preserving the original structures in the property.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result of this project is a 40,000-square-foot self-storage facility with 426 units that adds another convenient use to the walkable urban district. It embodies the principle of adaptive reuse and helps reduce the need for residents and visitors to drive elsewhere for their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repurposing the basement of the Burgbacher Building, which was previously home to a call center and has been vacant since 2020 due to the shift to remote work, the self-storage facility is part of a more extensive revitalization of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
