Arizona has a population of 7,379,346 and sold a total of 5,669 homes at an average price of $419,675, which is above the national average of $357,319 across the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">South Carolina saw the highest sales in the nation, topping Arizona slightly with 77.30 homes sold per 100,000 people over the last month. South Carolina sold a total of 4,071 homes and apartments at an average price of $301,659 and has a population of 5,266,343.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a population of 10,710,558, North Carolina saw over 8,000 sales in total at an average price of $329,634. The state ranks No. 3 on the list with 75.74 homes sold per 100,000 residents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coming in at No. 4, Florida had one of the highest numbers of properties sold with a total of 16,454 sales at an average price of $404,939. However, the state\u2019s large population of 22,359,251 translates to only 73.59 homes sold for every 100,000 people.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tennessee is fifth on the list with a total of 5,135 homes sold at an average price of $311,333 over the last 30 days. Tennessee has a population of 7,080,262, measuring out to 72.53 sales per 100,000 people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As home purchases continue to slow down in many housing
