No\nMatter what \u201cdown\u201d time you\u2019re having, YOU do have the power to turn it around.\nI know something\u2019s are easier to overcome than others, but my hope is after\nreading this blog you will feel better equipped to move on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Watch Your Eating.<\/strong> If you know you typically turn to a \u201cpoor\u201d food or drink choice after a stressful day, don\u2019t have it easily accessible. You can also make sure you have healthy snacks available to help fight the cravings. <\/li><li><strong>Have your Gym Bag Packed.<\/strong> I also suggest you have it visible so you\u2019re more apt to remember to go to the gym right after work. Sometimes if it\u2019s packed and in your trunk, it\u2019s \u201cout of sight and out of mind\u201d, so have it on your car seat or in the front seat. This way it\u2019s the 1st thing you see when you get back in your car. If you know your day may be filled with more stress than normal and you won\u2019t go to the gym after, get in before you start your day. Not only will this assure you get your exercise in, but it will release serotonin and dopamine for the rest of your day. <\/li><li><strong>Shift Your-Self Talk.<\/strong> Instead of saying \u201cI can\u2019t get out of this bad mood\u201d, give yourself 5-10 minutes to re-boot. In this break, practice breathing, move a little or what I personally like to do is say out loud all the things I am grateful for or listen to a motivational podcast. If you\u2019re in the mindset that this is the \u201cWorst\u201d  day ever, then focus on gratitude and whatever has gone well that day.
