What\u2019s stopping you?? YOU are stopping YOU! I have been guilty of this and have written a lot about my self sabotage when it comes to emotional eating and the vicious cycle of binge eating. I still struggle with finding balance in my life but I have made enormous strides over the last couple of years and now I want to help you!<\/p>\n<p>Weight loss sabotage is something a lot of women and men experience. Many self saboteurs eat a good portion of their calories in the middle of the night which wreaks havoc on the waistline. Make it a point to stop eating at least 2 hours before bedtime.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Impulse eating:<\/strong> Plan your meals and snacks, and eat every 2-3 hours to avoid mindless eating. Having healthy foods on hand like almonds or apples will also help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Watch what you fill your shopping cart with:<\/strong> Go grocery shopping after you have eaten, not before. This will reduce the temptation to put junk food into your shopping cart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When temptation to overeat strikes, try on clothes that you can barely fit into:<\/strong> Do you really want to get big enough to make it impossible to fit into these clothes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Avoid emotional eating:<\/strong> If you are under stress, go for a run, walk, jump rope or take a hot shower. Listen to your favorite music or read a book. Also jump into a yoga class or pilates \u2026 Learn to \u2018Just Breathe\u201d!<\/p>\n<p><strong>See if there are healthier versions of your favorite foods:<\/strong> Like having whole grain pancakes vs regular buttermilk. You can do this with a lot of foods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice portion control<\/strong>: If it doesn\u2019t fit into the palm or your hand then it is too much.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stop making excuses to avoid exercise<\/strong>: It is never too cold or hot to exercise. Make exercise a priority! You can always make time!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Try this YUMMY healthy recipe if that sweet tooth strikes<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CUPS WITH BUTTERSCOTCH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(SERVES 1)<br \/>\n1 scoop Chocolate\u00a0whey isolate<br \/>\n1 tbsp sugar-free, fat-free Jell-O Butterscotch instant pudding mix<br \/>\n1 tbsp natural peanut butter<br \/>\n\u00bc cup water<\/p>\n<p>1. Mix all ingredients together and scoop into baking cups (about 3).<br \/>\n2.
