The post I clicked on was all about Kayli\u2019s month of going vegan. I\u2019ve tossed the idea around myself, as I\u2019m sure you have\u2026 but a pepperoni pizza always ends up talking me out of it. Still, I was curious about Kayli\u2019s meatless\/cheeseless adventures, especially the surprises. Here she debunks the biggest vegan myths of all. Over to you Kayli\u2026<\/p>\n<p><b><b>Myth: Eating vegan is <i>bo-ring<\/i><br \/>\nTruth: Countless vegan recipes are just a click away<br \/>\n<\/b><\/b>Stuck in a recipe rut? Try one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carrieonvegan.com\">Carrie on Vegan\u2019s<\/a> delicious concoctions for a sure-to-please meal! Other go-to vegan recipe sites: <a href=\"http:\/\/ohsheglows.com\/\"><em>Oh She Glows<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/chefchloe.com\/chloes-kitchen.html\"><em>Chloe\u2019s Kitchen<\/em><\/a>.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\nMyth: Going vegan is inconvenient<br \/>\nTruth: It just takes prep and planning<\/b><br \/>\nI\u2019ve had many people tell me that they could never eat vegan, simply because it\u2019s not convenient. My secret? I pre-make all my grains for the week on Sunday. I pre-make my oats for a quickie breakfast and I usually have a quinoa salad ready in the fridge for lunch.<\/p>\n<p><b>Myth: It\u2019s impossible to eat out<br \/>\nTruth: Eating out can be <i>dee-licous<\/i>!<\/b><br \/>\nGoing vegan actually seemed quite easy to me, that is, until I was faced with eating out\u2014luckily, the Phoenix area is super vegfriendly! The restaurant that changed it all for me: <a href=\"http:\/\/greenvegetarian.com\/\">Green New American Vegetarian<\/a>. From meals such as the \u201cBig Wac\u201d to the \u201cNo Harm Chicken Parm\u201d, you\u2019re in for a treat. Just make sure you\u2019re getting in all of the necessary nutrients (which you should be tracking anyways!) My suggestion: Talk with a nutritionist to help discover what\u2019s right for your body. Everyone is different!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Myth: Vegan is all or nothing<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Truth: Don\u2019t be afraid to fall off the bandwagon<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s not normal to wake-up one day and suddenly give up all your favorite foods. Start with what you feel is right for you. Does one meal a day sound more attainable? How about one meal a week? Meatless Monday\u2019s are a great way to start!
