Mark your calendars: Super Fun Runs in Phoenix

Enter a fun race to boost running motivation
The Color Run
The Color Run

Are you suffering from the post-marathon blues? I’ve been there. After my first half-marathon, I didn’t run again for nearly 6 months. It wasn’t a conscious decision to hang up my sneakers, I just lacked serious motivation. At first I blamed my sore post-race muscles. When they healed, I blamed the weather. When that cleared up, I blamed my busy schedule. But the truth was I work better—and workout better—when I have something to train for. I need that carrot dangling in front of me, something to chase. Thankfully, the Rock ‘n’ Roll isn’t the only race on the roster; there are plenty of spring runs approaching. So put down that remote and that roll of cookies, and sign up for one of these fun runs.
