In other words, she’s one fit chick! Here, she talks trainers, healthy escapes and the best time to workout.
Favorite time to workout
Morning. It gives me a jumpstart and keeps me energized throughout the day. Getting your workout done early also insures that you get it done. As the day goes on, you never know what may come up to keep you from getting that workout in!
Sweating in an awesome Spinning class! The hour flies by and before you know it, you’ve burned anywhere from 500 to 700 calories. Another major calorie burner is a Tabata class! It consists of an all-over workout with intervals of 20 seconds of work; 10 seconds of rest that is repeated 8 times over the course of a 40 minute class. It’s killer!
My favorite personal trainers are the Core Concept Trainers at Mountainside Fitness! They always stay ahead of all current fitness trends. Their small group training classes keep me from getting bored as I can mix my workouts between boxing, crossfit, TRX and kettle bells They are result-driven and so knowledgeable in all areas of fitness.
Favorite healthy escape
I love visiting the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix. The ambiance is so relaxing that you can’t help but feel rejuvenated after your stay. The surrounding cliffs and Falls Water Village are amazing features the resort has to offer. My two daughters love it which makes it great for a family getaway.
Chelsea’s Kitchen in Arcadia. A must-try are their grilled Ahi Tuna Tacos with made-to-order corn tortillas! This is a dish that tastes great and is healthy too!!
