Street Car Takeover

Start your engines and race on over to the Street Car Takeover at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. On Oct. 18, witness some of the country’s best drag racing and roll racing from 5 to 11 p.m. The kids won’t believe their eyes as race cars zoom by and battle it out for awards. Baby Shark Live

Ikeda Theater in Mesa presents Baby Shark Live this Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Take a journey into the ocean with adorable singing sea creatures. The kiddos will love singing along to the new and old-time favorite songs, as well as count and color through the immersive learning experience. Tickets start at $29.50, depending on seating; children over the age of one will require a ticket for entry.

Box Mania

Create, explore and build this weekend at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix as they present Box Mania. Hundreds of different boxes will fill the atrium and children will have the chance to create unique designs from the boxes and tools that will be provided. Tickets cost $14.95, and the event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18.
