Arizona Craft Beer Festival

Calling all beer lovers from near and far, this festival was made for you! The Arizona Craft Beer Festival is comprised of more than 25 breweries, with top-notch brews created specially from Arizona spirit connoisseurs. Attendees can also enjoy live entertainment, with a portion of the proceeds from the event even benefitting the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild. The festival of our dreams is actually very real, and it’s making its debut at Margaret T. Hance Park this weekend. We’re talking about the FRIED: French Fry and Music Festival, of course. You might not make it on a vacation to New Orleans this summer, but no need to worry because the Great Southwest Cajun Fest brings the spirit of the soulful city to life through food, music and a general celebration of classic, New Orleans culture. Mudsling at Pueblo Grande Museum

This unique volunteer event puts cultural and history on full display, as those involved get the chance to mudsling. Mudslinging is a stabilization technique for earthen structures. It has been employed for decades to shore up and repair the ancient Hohokam platform mound at Pueblo Grande. The Mudslingers meet on the third Saturday of the month from 8 to 11 a.m. during the months of September to May. This volunteer event is free; for more information, click here.
