Arizona Bao Fest

Bao cravings, no more – at least, that’s true if you attend the Arizona Bao Fest that will take place this weekend. There will be different varieties of bao from traditional to creative interpretations, all served from a variety of businesses specializing in Asian and fusion dishes. Encanto Palmcroft Historic Home Tour and Street Fair

Home Tour Day is a great day to get out of the house and see how other people live -- specifically those in one of the most talked about historic neighborhoods in Arizona. Attendees can buy their tickets and a refreshment at Holly and 12th Avenue where there will also be a street fair with live music, food vendors and a beer and wine garden. On an old-fashioned trolley ride, attendees can listen to a tour guide give a fascinating commentary on the history of the neighborhood. Mask Alive! Festival of Masks

This incredible festival celebrates the power of Phoenix’s, diverse scene and the remarkable cultures that comprise our own neighborhoods. With artistic engagements featuring giant puppets, mask performers, Chinese Lion dancer, kids art activities and food trucks galore, this festival is a celebration of humanity and of the unique cultural blueprints that make us great. S.T.A.R.S: Survivors Tell a Real Story

A 2nd Act Live brings a curated, storytelling performance of S.T.A.R.S: Survivors Tell a Real Story to life, by featuring eight Valley women who have battled terrifying health battles and diagnosis head on. Now, these brave women are sharing their stories and are helping to empower others to love their life – imperfections, challenges and all.
