Make-A-WishR Arizona is pleased to announce that the 2017 Make-A-Wish Arizona Black & White Wish Ball presented by Good Night Pediatrics will be held Saturday, March 25 at the Camelback Inn.
The ball, which celebrates the mission of Make-A-Wish Arizona by raising funds to grant the wishes of Arizona children with life-threatening medical conditions, has long been a significant event for the chapter. The event has raised more than $5 million total in the past three years, which goes directly to wish granting thanks to corporate sponsorships, like Good Night Pediatrics and Superstar Sponsor Discover.
Evon Yaro-Fig, Andrea Stewart-Pritchett and Katie Wilson are co-chairs of this year's ball.
"More than 450 children in Arizona are waiting to have their wish granted," said Elizabeth Reich, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Arizona. "It is our hope that this event will continue grow in importance each year as we work to reach every eligible child in Arizona and provide them with wish experiences that bring hope, strength and joy to their lives."
The Wish Ball includes an interactive program, silent and live auctions and musical entertainment, as well as giving donors an opportunity to spend time with wish families and wish kids who attend as guests of Make-A-Wish Arizona.
"When people see and hear first-hand the impact a wish can have on a child who is dealing with a life-threatening medical condition, they know their donation is going toward creating a memory that will live with that child, and their family, for the rest of their lives," said Reich.
