Sparks are flying this Fourth of July, and we have your lineup of where you need to be to see fireworks in the Valley this Independence Day. From Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix and Scottsdale, these activity-filled events will surely will be lighting up the sky come the Fourth here in the Valley. Bring the whole family for these fun, food-filled festivities and, of course, fireworks to celebrate America.

Freedom Fest at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess (pictured)

Between vintage air shows viewed from the Princess pool and lagoon lawn, a kids concert from Grammy award-winning Secret Agent 23 Skidoo and a Michael Jackson tribute band, this is the place to be on the Fourth. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m., and the Michael Jackson concert will continue after. Come out for an exciting night of family fun and entertainment at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Scottsdale’s 4th of July Celebration (WestWorld of Scottsdale)

Be red, white and COOL this Fourth of July at the WestWorld Scottsdale, Fourth of July Celebration. This indoor event features a petting zoo, pony rides and carnival activities and will close out the night with fireworks. 4th of Zooly at the Phoenix Zoo

With a catered BBQ dinner at the Lakeside Lawn and free carousel rides and stingray bay entrance, the Phoenix Zoo is the place to be this Independence Day. Guests are invited to VIP seating at the back of the zoo, where they will have a full view of the Tempe Town Lake Spectacular Fireworks. Westgate Firework Fest

Come celebrate the Fourth with a cool water zone, loads of family entertainment and live music at Westgate Entertainment District. With a lively and rocking bar scene and food from more than 20 restaurants, Westgate Firework Fest will not disappoint this Fourth of July. This event is free and open to the public.

Tempe Town Lake Festival and Firework Spectacular

With one of the best launching pads in town, these fireworks will lift off from Mill Avenue Bridge, choreographed to music from all different genres. Beginning at 5 p.m., food, family-friendly fun like an inflatable village and vendor merchandise booths will take place at the Tempe Beach Park for the 67th Annual Firework Spectacular. Fabulous Phoenix 4th at Steel Indian School Park

The 33rd Annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th is back. This will feature one of the largest firework displays in the Southwest. There will be live music from international recording artists, festival-style food, and classic activities and rides for the whole family. This festival attracts more than 100,000 plus a year. Fourth of July at Tumbleweed Park

This holiday spectacular begins at 6:30 p.m. and is fun for all ages. Guests are invited to come celebrate America and our heritage at this traditional Independence Day celebration presented by the City of Chandler. From activities, live music and a presentation of the Colors by the United States Marine Corp, this festival is a perfect family event to honor our nation’s birthday. Gilbert’s Fourth of July Celebration

Family, friends and neighbors are invited to celebrate the Fourth at Higley High School in Gilbert. Come out and bring blankets, lawn chairs and outdoor games. Food trucks will be onsite from 6 to 9 p.m.; fireworks begin at 8:30 p.m. This is a free event. Click here for more information and parking.

Your Hometown 4th of July at Queen Creek

Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek will feature food trucks, fireworks, a DJ, a rock wall and splash zone with a slip-and-slide. This family-friendly, activity-packed event will begin at 4 p.m., and prices vary. Click here for more information and directions.
