Several farms, orchards and ranches in the Valley are holding family-friendly festivals and entertaining guests with hayrides, corn mazes and much more.

Mother Nature’s Farm

The Pumpkin Patch at Mother Nature’s Farm, rated Arizona’s best in the New Times, will be open from Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 in Gilbert. The family-owned farm is stocked daily with fresh pumpkins, ranging from one ounce to 500 pounds. The farm entrance is $10 per child, including an OZ pumpkin, an individual bag of stickers for decorating your pumpkin, an air bounce, a hayride, a straw bounce, the opportunity to feed animals and Alexander’s Adventure Maze. Apple Annie’s Orchard

Head out to Apple Annie’s Orchard and pick from your own pumpkin patch, Opening Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., families and kids will be able to find their own perfect pumpkin, take a wagon ride and enjoy a peaceful walk around the orchard’s patch. Pumpkins range in price from $3 to $25 depending on the size. Apple Annie’s is a family farming operation located in Willcox. Tolmachoff Farms

Let the memorable fall season begin at Tolmachoff Farms and experience the ultimate corn maze and pumpkin days, from Oct. 1 to Nov. 5, Tuesdays through Sundays. Families will walk through a six-acre corn maze, a mini corn maze, and a haunted maze featuring new chilling scenes every year. MacDonald’s Ranch

From Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, MacDonald’s Ranch will be hosting its annual Pumpkin Patch, open six days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Scottsdale. Tickets are $10 adults or children, Monday through Friday, and $12 each Saturdays and Sundays. Families and kids will be able to visit the petting zoo, learn to pan for gold, explore the hay maze, enjoy Western games and more. Pony rides will be available as well. Buckelew Farm

The 29th annual Buckelew Farm festival features three corn mazes, jumping castles, kids zip lines, unlimited wagon rides and more, every Saturday and Sunday in October, starting Oct. 7. Schnepf Farms

Take your family out this October to Schnepf Farms, voted by Phoenix Magazine, New Times, Sunset Magazine and others as ‘The Best Fall Family event in the Valley.” Schnepf’s Farms in Queen Creek hosts its annual Chili Party Food, occurring every Thursday through Sunday, beginning Oct. 5. Marana Pumpkin Patch

Celebrate fall season at Marana’s Pumpki Patch this October! The farm has plenty of surprises in store for locals this year, from its 50-acre field to two unique corn mazes. Kids will look forward to jumping on the farm’s huge jumping pillows and warm up their bellies after with delicious festive food. Ponies, miniature donkeys and goats will also be waiting for them at the petting zoo. Marana Pumpkin Patch will open up on Oct. 7 through Oct. 29 for its annual pumpkin patches visits. Mortimer Family Farms

Mortimer Family Farms celebrates its annual Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze Sept. 29 through Oct. 29, in Dewey. The festival’s centerpiece is a 15-acre pumpkin patch and 15-acre corn maze. Every year, the Mortimer family comes up with a fun and interesting idea on how to cut the corn with an amazing picture in the center of the maze. Unique to the farm is its annual Pumpkin Chunkin’, held on Oct. 14, that allows competitors to launch pumpkins across the farm. Freeman’s Farm Fall Festivities

Freeman’s Farm awakens to a fall filled with great festivities for its guests. The family-owned and -operated boutique pumpkin patch in Chino Valley welcomes fall with multiple performances as well as wagon hayrides, horse presentations and pumpkin patches.
