10th Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off at Tumbleweed Ranch
Spend Friday night indulging in historic cuisine. From 6 to 10 p.m., Tumbleweed Ranch will host chuck wagons as cooks whip up food using methods popular to the Western trails of the 1800’s. Fountain Hills Festival of Arts and Crafts at Avenue of the Fountains
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., one of the Southwest’s largest art events will return. Free to attend, the Fountain Hills Festival of Arts and Crafts features nearly 500 artisans showcasing jewelry, sculptures, paintings, clothing and much more. Adopt + Shop Event at Almost There Foster Care
Sweeten up your Saturday with a new fur-friend. Two Pups Wellness Fund and Community Canine Project have teamed up to create a one of a kind Adopt + Shop filled with adult dogs eager to find their forever home. Every adoption will include a $100 gift card to PetSmart, wellness check and a family photo. In addition to adorable potential pets, there will also be food trucks and pop-up shops from local vendors. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Chato’s Kitchen” at Herberger Theatre Center
At 1 p.m., Childsplay Theatre will perform one of Soto’s most amusing works. Follow East L.A. cat, Chato, as he schemes against his new neighbors. Aged 30 or 3, the humor in “Chato’s Kitchen” is difficult to deny. Tickets range from $12 to $32. Attendees can expect an hour-long show followed by a Q&A.
Wonderspaces: Elsewhere at Scottsdale Fashion Square

Festival of the Superstitions at Flatiron Community Park
Pay a visit to Apache Junction’s new Flatiron Community Park while reveling in the view of Superstition Mountains’ fall landscape. 10th Annual Roosevelt Row Pie Social
Gear up for Thanksgiving at Roosevelt Row’s Pie Social. From 2 to 5 p.m., local chefs and restaurants such as All the Little Things, Cartel Coffee Lab and Ollie Vaughn’s will compete for the title of “most divine dessert in all the Valley.” The event is free to attend and offers tasting tickets for $15. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn blankets and/or chairs. Proceeds will be donated to Roosevelt Row CDC.
Legends of Speed at Phoenix Art Museum
Make Sunday speedy. The Phoenix Art Museum has opened its first-ever major exhibition of racing cars. The exhibit features over 20 legendary cars created by Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Ford and more. Many of the cars on display have won world renown races such as the Indianapolis 500, Le Mans and Italian Grand Prix. The exhibit is free with the purchase of a general admission ticket, ranging from $14 to $23.
“The Wizard of Oz” at Desert Stages Theatre
